Approximately how many "hours" does each bag last?

Answer: Depending on the wave action it will last for 3 to 6 hours . On calm days you need to dunk it up and down.

Is it reusable?

Answer: yes. it is reusable considered you dry them as soon as you take them out of saltwater.

Answer: I saved chum in open container in boat, but it attracted a million bugs and flies!

Answer: no, once it is wet use it up.

Will Tsang : Didn't land any more bait than before

This product claims to bring in more fish and bait than before but I didn't see any difference. I used it as a stand alone product and paired it with menhaden fish oil and I didn't see any gains. I tried it in salt water, fresh water and deep sea.

There I was, fishing with regular chum and I had schools of Chubs nibbling but when I ran out, I switched to this stuff and alas, not a single fish! Nothing! Nada! I think it's meant for a different ocean.

I've used fishing off the gulf and it brought all kinds off bait to the boat. It lead to alot of big hungry bull reds, trout, sharks. I highly recommend to buy

Was a 100F day in Boston today; the mackerel baitfish have been scattered, and the stripers were hiding from the heat. Poured 1/2 cup of Mojo menhaden oil onto 1lb pack (2 in this bag) in the morning before heading out, then in late afternoon tied it off transom, and had 2 hours of all the mackerel bait we could pull out of the resultant slick in about 15 minutes. Dropped the live bait mackerel and soon the big striper (and other fish) came over the gunnels, all while anchored a short ride from marina.

Slow to release, but with oil created a great slick with slow dissolving particles that kept the bait under the boat for almost 2 hours. A pull on the chum bag line released a nice cloud of chum particles and menhaden oil droplets that kept the fish near the whole 2 hours. Compared to storing bricks of frozen chum in my wife's freezer this was too easy, and I haven't caught stripers while the heat index is over 100F in a loooong time.

Will try this more during this summer - got all our friend's kids on big fish on the one day they could join us. It works so far as we can tell on first test, looking forward to more field testing...

Don't waste your money. The balls are the same thing you feed koi at the zoo. It also takes a long time to dissolve. Had it hung on the side of the boat for about 5 hours. When we got back to the dock I hung it off the dock. 4 hours later there was still about 20% of the bag left. Don't cheap out. Buy or make real chum or just skip it.

My kids starting throwing popcorn into the water while I was getting set up to fish. The yellowtail ate the popcorn and when I finally got this chum deployed the fish wanted nothing to do with it!!! Not buying again
If I had to guess this stuff is just low grade cat food.

Well the texture was NOT what I was expecting. I was fully expecting a crunch, but there was a very soft mouth feel. the first flavor is bitterness, that gives way to leather boots and wheat. for a glorious second I did not taste any fish. then, it hit me. have you ever had tuna sashimi that was close to its toss date? or maybe the leftover water from the oyster shell that had been sitting in the sun for a few hours?

anyway for the price this stuff is a good bargain.

Bought not to fish but to feed Mangrove Snappers off dock. They were a little skittish at first, but now it's a feeding frenzy when I throw the pellets in the water. They tend to float a while before sinking.

I put a bag in my pinfish trap a day or two before a fishing trip, this stuff attracts more pinfish than anything I have ever used.

Used while on vacation off the dock. It works. It takes a little time for the pellets to break but that was a good thing. It drew in all types of fish that were not biting before.
