Answer: Go to Ruger online shop to get choice of part number model application and height choices. The Crossfire II 6-18 has a 44 mm objective the sight will give you recommendation for tube size which will be 1” and model type and objective size to get proper height.

Answer: I doubt it. I used straight high for my 77. Take it to a gunsmith if you need to. Your scope must be correctly mounted and boresighted.

30mm Ruger Scope ring for:

Ruger M77 Compact .308 Bead blasted steel/ laminate stock.

Perfect to the naked eye.,
1st) I bought the cheapest non-matching XL (6b) and Lg (5b). Approx. $40 for both (not each) shipped.

Surfaces were clean- new and free of lubricants. Fit is awesome. It adds some appeal to the misty greyed factory look. The stainless pops but doesn’t look out of place. The dark bluing blends with the scope. Gn1 Vortex PST 2.5-10x44. Sits a bit tall for me by 1/4-3/8”.

The smaller combination has a 42mm bell/ obj. Lens dia. limit but I may try the (5b) rear to (4b) front mount anyway.

The proprietary Ruger scope ring mounting surfaces go on snug. The machining perfection extends from cuts in the rifle receiver to the cleats and fine bolt threads on the scope rings. Almost perfect. There is’ something to be said about proprietary accessories. They’ll most often fit like OEM parts. These two pieces, both bought separately went on without any mill work.
I will buy the 4b 30mm scope ring.

This product was purchased to mount a Vortex PST scope on my Ruger Hawkeye Predator 204 rifle. The rifle came with these same style rings but for a 1 inch tube scope and the scope I was going to use has a larger 30mm tube. The factory has an exchange program for such instances but I did not want to go through the hassle of returning the packaged (with rifle) mounts and waiting for the transaction so I purchased my these mounts. They are the exact style and color of the packaged mounts just the larger tube dimension.

I own a lot of Ruger M77 rifles, the key reason is the scope mounting system. I often transport my rifles overseas by air, hunt very rugged terrain, I'm a little rough on my rifles but never in over 30 years have I had to re zero a scope or had a scope move. Ruger's M77 mounting system is the best there is. Ring, fit, finish and quality is excellent.
