How many containers are included?

Answer: Two hard containers with lids and two soft plastic bag storage containers.

I need more bags. where can i get them?? i can’t find. i absolutely love this unit and i have owned quite a few over the years. this is my fave.

Will the 10 quart Food Saver marinade container fit under this vacuum?

Answer: Not sure. Not familiar with that container. Limitations on the depth from the back to the center would be the concern. 3 1/2” max depth before you’d hit the back. The containers that are made for this unit are 3” from the outside of the container to the center where the suction would take place.

Answer: Yes it fits. And so easy to use.

Does this work with older foodsaver containers?

Answer: I'm not sure which older ones you refer to, but it won't work with the containers with white lids and soft flaps on the top. I have one of those and it didn't work with it because the lid hole section is oval, with slits on each side of the oval ridges.

Answer: Sorry, I got rid of my old containers, but I would think that it might.

Answer: I received one 3 cup and one 5 cup container and two bags.

Answer: I got one 3 cup and one 5 cup. It looked like more, as someone said, because the lids were on the containers. I use them all the time. They're very hard to find and don't sell them on their site anymore.

Answer: It is one of each. What you are seeing in the picture is the lid on each.

Answer: Without the lid it is 1/16" more than 5 1/2" (5 9/16").

Eglewing1 : A must have.

If you have leftovers, cut up vegies, or fruit, you want them to last much much longer? Then you need this in your kitchen. It is so easy to use and food stays so fresh much much longer.

Pat P : Does a good job

I originally had the hand held version, and it still works well, but it doesn't have the suction power that the counter top version has. Just a warning to people with sensitive hearing. The counter top model is loud. Not Harley Davidson loud, but it makes the hand held model sound like it's whispering. I have a small galley style kitchen with limited counter space, so if counter space is an issue, you may need to decide what appliance you use the most and that you want on the counter all the time. I use the counter top version several times a day and more than any other appliance I have, so it stays on the counter.

I received this yesterday and just tried it out today. I didn't have any food to put in the container, so did it empty. I like that I don't have to stand there holding it down while it does the job. It was easy to use, and it turns off when it's done. Thank you.
