Our 3, 4 or 5 mil pouches are the industry leader in clarity, strength and sealing performance. Designed to deliver puncture and tear protection while maximizing shelf life, these pouches are perfect for preserving beef, poultry, pork, frozen seafood, cheese, vegetables, grains, and more without sacrificing quality or flavor.

However, a stronger seal requires a stronger vacuum. These pouches are only compatible with chamber vacuum sealers, which provide a more consistent seal than FoodSaver, Weston, or Rival hand sealers. Chamber sealing uses an enclosed chamber that removes air from the entire chamber and maintains equal air pressure inside and outside the bag.

Once the bag is sealed, air returns to the chamber. This offers a reliable solution to sealing liquid products and moisture-rich foods. Smaller vacuum sealers do not effectively contain liquids and often create a partial seal.

Sous Vide, which means 'under vacuum' in French, is the process of vacuum sealing food and submerging it in a controlled-temperature water bath. This cooks food products more evenly and consistently with little work involved.

Vacuum Chamber Sealing Process

Insert product into vacuum chamber pouch. Keep any loose ends or small pieces away from open end of pouch.

Align pouch with seal bars

Align the open end of your vacuum pouch with the chamber machine's heated seal bar.

Seal Pouch

Close chamber lid, select options. Run sealing process.

Tear & Store

Tear off perforated end, store in freezer or elsewhere.

I've ordered other brands of bags and the size stated was 6" x 8" and the size was pretty much spot on. I can't say the same for this brand.

The actual inner dimensions of these bags are approximately 5.5" x 7.75" due to a 1/4" seam that runs along 3 of the sides.

It would have been nice to know this beforehand as I now have to return them and reorder correctly sized bags from somewhere else.

The bags themselves appear to be well made and they were packaged nicely but if you need a bag that's as close to the stated size as possible then this isn't the bag for you.

Excellent quality. I was worried that I might have needed 4 mil bags, but this is perfect. I chopped my own onions, Parsley, Celery, green onions, and other things and mixed them all up and made my own season all for cooking. these bags worked perfectly. My dad uses them for when he is working on motors and transmissions. He labels the bags and seals them up. He does not pull a major vacuum on them so that the sharp edges will not cut the bags. EXCELLENT PRICE!!!!

Decided to do some market selling and needed a smaller vacuum chamber bag that I typically like to use for daily storage of food and other items. Found this size works perfectly for small batch’s of pesto to sell at local farmers market. Works perfectly in my VacMaster VP 230. I have used UltraSource chamber bags in various sizes exclusively for a few years and never have a problem with sealing or long term storage. UltraSource is a good brand that I trust.
