Is the net supported by a metal that will rust?

Answer: Might be metal, but I don't see it rusting at all. Primo net, get it u will be happy

Answer: NO, I believe that it is supported by either aluminum or plastic. I am not sure, but I use it in salt water and it has not rusted. I use it for live minnows/killies in my livewell to catch fluke! I have not tried this, but is is lightweight and I believe that it will float.

would this network for catching small feeeder typy bait fish in a lagoon or a pond.?

Answer: Yes. I used it in the Gulf of Mexico on my boat catching almost bream size fish in my bait box.

Answer: It's a small net best suited for a live well on a boat. If you are looking to catch small bait fish, you should go with a casting net. Those are pretty easy to use after a little practice.

Which size net is recommended to catch small sand crabs on the beach for surf fishing?

Answer: This is not the type of net to use for catching sand crabs. For sand crabs you need a 1/4” metal net that you can dig down into the sand while rotating your feet to dislodge them from the sand.

Answer: You're looking at digging into wet sand. I'm not sure this net can stand-up to that. Maybe a large mesh colander? Think ing outside of the box.

Can you catch sand crabs with the net?

Answer: Yes, perfect for sand crabs.

Answer: The mesh holes are too big. You have to use the small net that typically comes with minnows. I use this net strictly for saltwater pin fish.

Answer: It works well for catching them in a bait well, but the meshing maybe a bit large for catching a lot of them. I use crappie sized minnows sometimes, not sure how those compare to what you're referring to. Anything smaller and I'd have to recommend looking somewhere else.

Answer: No size minnows could swim through this mesh. You are safe from that problem. It is almost like cheese cloth.

This net will last a while. We go through a few nets every year because the rip or tear or when the kids use them, the part around the rim hits the ground over and over and tears. This one is sturdy, it won’t bend or break when it hits the shallow water... it has a clear tube around the rim to protect the netting from getting scratched and tearing. It’s exactly what we needed for the kids to catch minnows in our pond!!!

Perfect. I need a net that doesn't rust or stain and that can stand up to the Florida sun and salt water. This net works perfectly in both of my bait wells and works for all baits, large or small. I've only had it a few months and it seems to be holding up very well.
