Can you Freeze Dry in this?
Answer: Generally things that only produce heat cannot freeze dry.
Answer: No. It is more like an oven than a freezer. More-or-less the same result, though.

Answer: The unit comes with a plastic tray normally used for fruit leather which can double as a drip pan. I have used it without the pan and cleanup is really easy. When I made jerky there was very little drip from the marinade.

I like the feature and looks of this food dehydrator. Unfortunately, I was dismayed and heartbroken when I saw that there was a bend on the left side of this dehydrator. It was my birthday gift to myself.

Bought this back on July 31st, 2021. Berries, citrus fruit, jerky. All have come out great. Enjoy the recipe book as well. Easy to follow and even easier to dehydrate.

Very well built. First one was damaged in shipping and credited quickly. Got replacement in 4 days. Made dried strawberries, cherries and blueberries. Very easy. Bought a pack of silicone sheets and trimmed them to size with scissors. You only need them when drying small fruits. Overall very pleased.

Product arrived with a noticeable dent on the top side corner. There does not appear to be any damage to the shipping package that would have caused a dent during transit. I am assuming the dehydrator was shipped with it already dented from an initial manufacturing or handling process. It may not affect performance, I have yet to try it out. It certainly affects aesthetics of an expensive appliance that should look better in the kitchen. Disappointed.
