Answer: no. the American angler blade on the back end that fits into the knife is square on top and round on the bottom. the mister twister blades are round on top and round on the bottom. the last 10 shark blades I just recd I ground down the top to make them round instead of square. it takes 30 seconds on an electric grinder mounted on my work bench.
Answer: Although it will not lock in place in your Mister Twister, it is so much better than the other blades it is worth changing knives to an American Angler to be able to use this blade!!!!

Answer: I know of no difference. I will say that they will get rusty if not dried properly. I use mine for fresh water fish and I do like them. I cut up some big walleye and blades give good service.
Answer: The saltwater blades have a little finer serration that cut thru the bones better. I only use the saltwater blades, even though I mainly freshwater fish. Excellent blades. Very sharp.

I bought three sets and the original set that came with the electric filet knife was sharper than any of the supposedly new replacement blades, even after I had been using the originals for over two years. I recommend purchasing a new electric filet knife that has blades that can be sharpened by the local hardware store.

Answer: We have never had any stainless steel blades rust.
Answer: Stainless steel can and does rust.
Answer: I’ve had several sets of these blades and have never had any that rusted.

Answer: There are different grades of stainless. That said, if you wash and dry them completely, you wont have problems. I usually just wash em and don't wipe thoroughly.

I was very disappointed with this knife. The blades were beyond flexible, they were flimsy to the point of being hard to use. I cleaned 15 fish with it and it was so hot that it was hard to hold onto. I used it once and returned it.

This is an very good set of blades. I am able to filet red fish (red drum) comfortably with these. The large bones and strong scales of large fish still resist my work but they do relent fairly quickly. Other blades are far less successful.

I ordered 2 replacement blades and used them for the 1st time yesterday and I couldn't believe that they were American Angler blades! It was barely able to cut through the skin of the catfish and bullheads I was trying to fillet with either of the blades. I am returning them asap. I was telling my friends how much I loved my old blades and the new ones didn't even come close to being acceptable.

They do not lock in and keep coming loose I can't figure why they won't lock in. When they work (30 seconds to a minute) I love them but i have to put them back in on almost very fish. I keep checking the blade release and have it pulled back correctly it's just that they will not lock in correctly. I use the Saltwater Piranha by Mister Twister, I started to send them back, no more money than they cost it's not worth the trouble

I am very disappointed with this replacement blade. I have had two of these American angler knives and loved them both. However I believe something has changed and the prices went way up. This replacement blade is not sharp, old blade that I broke cut like butter, this replacement blade is like cutting through a rock and tears the fish up. The two blades don’t even stay hooked together which makes this very unsafe to use. Very cheap and Flimsy. The handle is going into the garbage and going to try to return the blades. I bought a bubba electric knife. No more American angler for me.
