Answer: I wish. This mesh let a few smaller 8-10 inch trout through.

Answer: You will pick the options when you order. I got the black 25" net, I am not fond of it. Way to stiff, it won't sink readily into the water, and just isn't limber/soft enough. I wouldn't call it fabric, but more like a coated heavy line. I would not purchase another one.

Answer: Didn't choose color but received black 21 by 25 inch which was easy to replace and works great.

Answer: 9 to 3 o'clock (small number) x 12 o'clock to handle (large number) x WITH NET VERTICAL, from 12 o'clock to where the net hangs to (depth)

Will this net fit a 23" x 24" hoop

Answer: I had a 20 by 22 but seems like it will fit as has slack on mine.

is this good replacment net for landing salmmon from pier fishing on Lake Michigan shores

Answer: As long as you have the correct size loop for the size of the fish you will be landing and length of handle is sufficient for the height of the piers you'll be fishing from, this is an excellent choice. Remember not to land heavy fish with the handle in a some what horizontal position. After netting the fish, pick it up with handle in a vertical position so as not to bend it if it happens to be a large fish hopefully!!.......Tight lines!!

Answer: Depends, a large salmon, 25lb or more probably not. Not deep enough. But smaller than that should be no problem.

Could someone post a photo of this item? I use it to catch errant chickens, and it has to be a specific material to be safe.

Answer: I think it will stretch to that size but not positive! I replaced my rubber netting with this and am pleased with results!

How does this net attach to the frame? Does the hoop slide into a sleeve or can it be stitched into a large wood framed net?

Answer: mine slid over existing aluminum frame (24" by 20") but see no reason couldn't be stitched in wood framed. Took less than 5 minutes to remove old and add new replacement.

Answer: I stitch them on my laminated wooden nets. I do run a double length of heavy braided line inside the sleeve and stitch over the netting and the braid for extra support.

Answer: Mine was on an aluminum ring. It came loose from the handle and you thread the ring to through the net and reattach to the handle. Maybe your wood net might come apart from the handle, as well. Good luck

Answer: just measured depth at 32 inches my net is 20 inches with and length 24 inches. Got the frame from Herders in Wisconsin years ago. This is a great replacement net for me.

what is poly,vinyl or string fish net

Answer: Vinyl plastic coated net. A hook will still stick through the net material and hang when netting a fish but better than non coated nets for sure. Ever last had the best nets but I have not found replacement nets by them.

Answer: Non water absorbing materials. Also non tangling. String type nets also prown to getting hooked by the lures. You spend 5 minutes trying to get unhooked from the net after taking the fish out. This material is pretty standard and lasts a long time. Get it, it's good.

Answer: the string is a heavy vinyl and textured to be somewhat like hemp. BTW, the holes of the net are a bit large. A small trout, like 8 inches, can slip thru.

Fits just like it’s supposed to. Hubby is happy with it.

It's not as heavy as the original webbing on this old landing net, but it should serve the purpose I need it to. I wish it had a weighted bottom and a heavier gauge webbing, but I think it should at least serve it's purpose.

I did not see what color this net was when I ordered it. pleased to say it wws black. I don't know it that was random, but I prefer black landing nets because fish tend to swim to it. it is a heavier weight than I expected also, so I am well pleased.

After twenty years we needed to replace the net, first we used a different replacement which only lasted 3 days! This replacement net is identical to the original. It is heavy duty, relatively tangle free, and should do the job for a few years.

Tested the netting out today and it worked great. Several large pike, tiger muskies, and largemouth bass were caught on crankbaits and I had zero problems removing the hooks from this netting. Anyone who has caught pike knows how they love to roll in the net, and even with the rolling the hooks were still easy to remove. The netting that I replaced was terrible for hooks getting tangled, even to the point where I actually had to cut out hooks with a knife. No such issues with this net. Nothing is worse than trying to remove the hooks from a net and your fishing buddy hooks a big fish and you can't help him out since the net is tied up with your lure. I do not see this being an issue with this net! Not sure how this net will hold up long term, seems high quality, but for the low price if it only lasts a few years so be it, the price is low enough to get another one.
