Does this slide directly onto poles?

Answer: It does not - it will tie on. I use wooden tomato stakes.

Hi im just wondering do you have any bigger size about 3-4 ft H and 20-25 ft W net for smelts fish..?

How do I use it?

Answer: I also ordered seine poles from Amazon. We used it at the ocean. Our family worked as a team, two on each side, where the surf broke onto the beach and the water was cloudy. We sat in the shallow surf. Hold the poles vertically down into the sand parallel to the waterline, catch fish, lift net up flat. It is EASY to figure out! Easy enough for young children to participate ... big kids and adults liked it too! It was hours and hours of fun catching many kinds of small fish, mole crabs and jellyfish. It fascinated the kids!

Answer: With the weighted side down in the water (shallow creek with minnows) hold the side poles out angularly away from you so that the floats side is on top of the water. Now a larger pocket area where minnows are, slowly walk keeping weights on bottom of creek bed and escort the stein to the waters bank edge, lift up and close poles to trap the minnows, get out of the water and go fishing.

Answer: Add to small diameter poles to the ends, get a second person to man the other pole and drag weighted option of net to bottom of wherever you are trying to catch bait fish and work a school towards bank. Critical to keep weights toward bottom to keep bait from swimming under net

Answer: you need to attach a pole on each end. Best to have 2 people, in shallow water sweep toward shore.

Does this net come with the poles? If not where do you get the poles?

Answer: No, depends on what type of poles you want to use. 2 pieces of pvc1.1/2” with caps on both ends works well. Then it will float.

Answer: No, but you can make your own with a 2/4 roped in half. Cut them to 6’ long.

Even my nieces who are a little on the squeamish side fight for a chance to use this up at the lake. My son could spend hours searching the shallows for critters and this seine makes for a great day--gives him something to catch and also supplies us with live bait!

Go to the boat ramp and catch a bunch of minnows to use as live bait. Saved me so much money. 2 dozen minnows cost 6 dollars at store, I go fishing at least twice a week.. Saves me a good buck.

The seine does not come with poles or any type of instructions. As the previous review indicates, the weights are also wholly insufficient. I would suggest trying a different brand.

Really strong, I'm actually using three of these to tunnel around a hockey net in my basement. I have the standard hockey stop netting, and the minnow netting as a secondary to prevent hockey pucks from hitting my walls and ceiling.

Well made,worked just fine. As others have said, the weights are barely enough to sink it in flat water, you definitely want to brace the ends in flowing water.
