fishing user avatarLiquidSteel reply :

La Vista here.  Walnut Creek and Two Rivers is where you will find me quite a bit.

fishing user avatarZOOM BAITS reply :

Has anyone fished wildwood recently.  I was looking at the lake map of it and it has some excelent drop off and deep medium and shallow flats on it.

Just wanted to try it out and didnt know if anyone had any luck on it ever.

fishing user avatartrickstick13 reply :

Go Big Red! Papillion here

fishing user avatarSpencer W reply :

I Live in Lincoln, they recently renovated Wildwood several years ago. You probably won't find any fish of good size there yet. But it should be a great lake when the fish grow a bit.  If anyone ever needs a fishing partner shoot me a PM. :)

fishing user avatarZOOM BAITS reply :

Has anyone had any luck for walleye bits yet.  If so what are you fishing with(Like Jigs, crankbaits, swim shads) and how deep.

fishing user avatarShad_Master reply :

A Razorback at heart, but stuck in Nebraska (Papillion).

fishing user avatarChugBug reply :

im from Lincoln but mostly fish lakes north of lincoln. I seen on the Nefga.org website, a few ppl were talking about wildwood and some pics were posted with descent sized bass.

fishing user avatarbassin_man reply :

Would anyone be interested in a possible Nebraska member outing?  Maybe a grill out then some fishing (or vice versa) at a pre-determined location.

We tried it last year and Shad Master and I were the only ones to show up at Walnut.  We had a great time would love to meet the rest of the Nebraska B/R guys.  I'm willing to travel to where ever.  Lets put it together.

GO BIG RED

fishing user avatarbassin_man reply :

I would be up for it.  I will though have to see how long I am going to be in "training" for my new job.  After I get done with training I will be working Saturday evenings so then it probably wouldn't work out.

fishing user avatarCPT Scrap reply :

Lived in Neb. City for four years. Lots of great farm ponds around there and over on the Iowa bottoms. Great fishing memories in that area.  I think I still have the biggest bass ever weighed at PaaPs..8#. something.

fishing user avatarShad_Master reply :

do you guys ever get down to Banner Creek in KS? - this is a pretty good lake with lots of different structure.

fishing user avatarCPT Scrap reply :

banner creek?  rings a bell, but i cant recall exactly where it is.  is it near pony creek outside sabetha?

fishing user avatarShad_Master reply :

It is south of Sabetha at Holton, KS - our club fished a tournament there a couple of years ago and it was awsome in spite of 100* temps, cold front moving through the day before and 30 mph winds on tourney day.  Hope to get back there some time.

fishing user avatarCPT Scrap reply :

alright....so holton, i wasnt too far off, just down 75 a little, and west.  never actually been there, hear its pretty good though.

fishing user avatarShad_Master reply :

It looks like it should be an awsome spring lake - there is a large flat on the west end that is really shallow - it looks like a good spawning area and the tree line sout of there is good for staging.

fishing user avatarStrauser_24 reply :

I'm in Papillion, might try to get out to Walnut tomorrow.

fishing user avatarFishin247365 reply :

Fairbury angler here. Our club primarily fish lakes in Kansas, but there are a couple small lakes within 25 minutes of Fairbury I like to fish during the week. Both are drastically different types of waters so they are good to go practice on. Good fishing to all!

Probably none of you guys on here today with that spring game thing going on. I am not a Husker fan by any means, but I sure hope Bo gets things figured out a little for you guys. I'm sick of going to work and seeing grown men cry when things didn't go well on Saturdays.
