Clark : Seals anything

Great for sealing everything from chip bags to resale items. Works quickly and makes a nice even seal. Much quicker and more reliable to use than the small portable keychain style versions. No stops and starts one press and you're done. Seals and cuts off the extra bag so you don't have a pantry full of huge bulky half eaten or almost empty items. Very easy to use turn on, press, and done. My issue is its size. Its bulky and that makes it hard to store or find a place for it.

AANNII : Doesn’t seal

I’m not sure if I received a lemon but half the strip doesn’t seal properly. My cheaper impulse sealer works better than this. I’m going to exchange it and see if it’s any different. Also, when you slide the blade, it isn’t smooth at all. I bought this impulse sealer to save time but it’s just not working properly.

So happy I got this heat sealer! I use it for decorated sugar cookies and it is great! I previously had a sealer that did not have the cutter, and having the cutter on this one is AMAZING! It is a little more expensive than ones without a cutter, but it is SO worth it! It saves me so much time! I had a little trouble at first getting the cutter to slide smoothly, but with some practice it has gotten easier. It works best for me when I slide it cutting from right to left, and make sure that the cutter is at the very edge before I start sealing. The base is nice and sturdy metal. I like that once I push the arm down on the bag to seal, I can let go of the cookie (as long as I keep the arm pushed down) so it is easy to slide the blade across and I don’t have to worry about having to hold the cookie, the arm down, and slide the cutter. I use 1.2 mil clear cello polypropylene bags and the level 4 heat setting works perfectly!
