How are these bags reusable after being sealed?
Answer: Cut open the sealed bag, remove some of the contents then reseal. Example - I freeze blueberries but I don't use them all at once. I take some out then reseal what I don't need in the same bag.

Hands down, what I love the most about these bags is that they come with a sealed bottom and they can stand up when you start to fill them...it enables more to be placed in the bag and to be done so a lot quicker and easier. The bags are well-made and work great with my FoodSaver vacuum sealer but they also work well with another brand that is a little different and not affiliated with FoodSaver. These can fit a surprising amount of food but I did have a couple issues sealing 2 of the bags as they just kept wrinkling a bit (could've been user error). Nonethless, while these are not the cheapest bags (in quality nor cost), they are worth it for me for some activities and types of food.

These are great bags in that they are quite sturdy and are much easier to use than most thanks to the flat bottom, allowing you to put in your ingredients without worrying it will topple over and you will lose marinade or other contents.
However, this has a downside--they are a bit harder to seal--with the flat bottom, you have more volume near the bottom and the top is more narrow. When you put them on their side to seal them, that topside fills up with any liquid very quickly and wants to spill out of the bag. You can solve this by raising the vacuum sealer up (perhaps on a couple of soup cans) and bending just the top of the bag into the vacuum chamber.
However, I am knocking off a star for the "reusable" claim. These are no more reusable than any other bag--to "reuse" it, you cut off the sealed portion and reseal, with the bag getting smaller every time until it is no longer useful. I was always hesitant of vacuum sealing food. It wasn't until I started using my FoodSaver that I now kick my self for not using one earlier. They are easy to use and with sizes such as the FoodSaver 2083545 Easy Fill 1-Quart Vacuum Sealer Bags it makes it extremely easy to portion out food. The money saved on food when bought in larger quantities greatly outweighs the cost of the bags. I love my FoodSaver.

It contains 40 pcs 1-Quart Bags and 20 pcs 1-Gallon Bags. They work great. I’ve always used these bags for my food saver device and have never had any issues. You never have to worry about tears or any other issues such as freezer burn. I’ll be glad when they are restocked.

This is a set of convenient sized FoodSaver bags that can be used to vacuum seal a variety of foods or other items. We used them on our 15+ year old FoodSaver vacuum sealer and in an Anova Culinary ANVS01 model (reviewed separately) without any issues.
These are pre-cut to 1 quart size for your convenience and cost about $12. However, you could get two 11”X50’ rolls for about $19 and make your own 1 quart bags for much less.
Overall, these are very good bags and should do exactly what you need them to do.

These bags work well, they seal completely in my Food Saver machine and hold the vacuum seal as promised. The only con is they are so expensive, I wish they could be a little bit more reasonably priced as I’m very selective as to when I should use the food saver bags vs. zip lock bags.

These bags are made of a pretty thick plastic and it is textured. The bags aren't too big, but a decent size to fit things like vegetables, cheese, or other small items in. The way the bags are shaped they can stand up so that you can fill then without having to hold them. They take a little longer to seal because of the thickness of the material, but they do seal. I think they are a good value for the price and would recommend.

Use these to vac down your cooked foods or raw meats to avoid freezer burn. The air being gone, there is little moisture to crystallize and no air to draw away the moisture of the food and give you "freezer burn." The quart size is my favorite size. Very good for tomato sauce, soups, or stews.

These gallon sized bags are great. They hold a lot of chicken breasts inside. (I buy large amounts since they are cheaper for pound.) I also have used them to store fresh fruits. They are easy to work with and work very nicely with my off brand vacuum sealer. I recommend these!

the bag now has a folded flap that lays flat when open, which is great for thinks like sandwiches, meat loaf, almost anything you can think of. doesn't crush things like the old bags did.

These are really handy for freezing meals – can even use them for soup or stock. Since they sit upright, they are easier to fill than the usual bags. These are the typical, sturdy material of the regular FoodSaver bags so they hold up in the freezer. I would use these more often but they are expensive!

These bags are just like the rolls except that they are more convenient since they are premade into bags. We use them a lot to freeze meat bought in bulk and separated into portions. They work great.

It took me a while to figure this out, as I'd never used this feature of my FoodSaver before, and it's been a while since I read the directions. It seemed as if it should be straight forward, but I managed not to remember it well, and had it wrong what I should be using it for. I was trying to use it on liquids (stew/spaghetti sauce), but that's not what it's meant for. Once I found better directions, and used it on a solid, all was well, and it did a great job. This was user error, not the fault of the product.

There's no cutting to it, except to open it. The bags are thick but you can see the contents in them, and you can easily write on them.
They don't tear, and they don't crack or break even when frozen hard and dropped from the top shelf.
I like to use them in the souv vide. I never have to worry about water getting in my food with these. I just seal my whatever up, with a few seasonings,and put it in the pot to slowly cook. It's just a lot easier than cutting my own bags, especially when I am flash freezing and transferring a lot at once to a bag. The stand up feature really helps with that.

Sometimes you just need extra hands in the kitchen. These bags lend you an extra hand by staying upright to fill. I love these for sous vide cooking, and for meal prep ahead. They're really durable and washable so you can reuse until you've cut them too low to seal! I'm typically a 'green' person, everything reusable & no plastics, but my food saver is one of the few exceptions!

This is a huge lot of food storage bags. Very durable and thick material. The bags stand up right on their own which is nice too. These bags make it easy to store food for future use. I love that they are compact so you can really maximize freezer space too. Very happy with the quality and quantity of the bags. They come in various sizes too which is nice!

I love my Foodsaver; but I have never had a convenient way to vacuum seal liquids (such a soup or sauce) in a bag ... until now. These bags stand up while you fill them. All you need to do is make sure you don't fill them too full, and then crease the top of the bag until you get it loaded into your Foodsaver. It took me a try or two before I got the hang of not spilling any of the liquid. But, now my soups and sauces take less room in the freezer.

I still remember the dark ages when I had to seal both ends of a bag from the roll, and hope it didn't leak. These bags are HUGE and perfect if you want to sous vide an entire family meal at once. I can easily get 3 chicken breasts in them and recommend these to anyone who needs to seal larger items. 5 stars.

Where were these my whole life! I sometimes do not have a lot of help to seal items that are hard to handle. Thus I tend to stay away from them. I love home made spaghetti sauce so when I make it I tend to make a large amount. What the kids don't take ends us getting tossed. I should say my sauce has a lot of meat in it also. I just sealed 3 bags all nicely fitting in the freezer. I can't wait to use them!

The difference with these FoodSaver quart and gallon bags is that they can stand-up which makes it markedly easier to fill them. In this set of BPA-free multi-layer bags there are 40 quart and 20 gallon bags. And as always, If not used with meat products they can be washed in hot soapy water and re-used.
They work in exactly the same way as the standard bags but the convenience of filling a free-standing bag is a significant improvement saving time and offering a neater process over perfectly flat bags. Excellent.

These work well with my Hamilton Beach sealer. I like that the bags are easy to fill because they can stand up with the flat bottom. They freeze well, and the items that I freeze in these bags do not develop freezer burn anywhere near as quickly as items that I freeze in ziplock bags.
