I used to buy band name vacuum bags, but it gets too expensive, especially now that everyone works from home, it means cook more and spend more. This is an economical brand as it costs <20 cents per bag to keep food fresh.

“Keep Food Fresh up to 5X Longer” is a clever slogan. It refers to freshness of vacuum- vs non vacuum- sealed way of keeping food. The former food is kept fresh 5X longer. Vacuum sealed essentially is removing the air from the bag, so that mold and bacteria are unable to live there. If it is kept properly in a freezer, buying in bulk and vacuum sealed to preserve food save money and time. Not only that vacuum seal extends shelf life, vacuum sealed food tastes better, it is also an efficient way of food organization.

I like the thickness and size of this bag. The size that I choose is just right for storing 2-3 persons portion per meal. If needed to cook more, simply take two packs. I sometimes vacuum sealed liquid (eg. soup, sauce) as well. I would recommend this affordable vacuum bags.

Best quality and most affordable vacuum sealer rolls I have purchased. They come in perfect size for vacuum sealing a family meal or single serve portions. The boxes have a sliding cutter on the box (you can reuse the box for multiple rolls), which I LOVE. I can never manage to cut my bags straight with scissors, which makes things difficult when I am trying to seal them. I would always have to trim a little off here and there until I could get it to work.
