When I purchased my first Foodsaver vacuum sealer I was told you can ONLY use Foodsaver brand bags/rolls or it won't seal properly. Foodsaver bags/rolls have gotten quite costly over the years. This is the third time buying "off brand" bags and they work great. I am sorry I didn't try them sooner. I could have saved myself a lot of money. Seal perfectly. A great size for meat (steaks, sausage, pork tenderloin, etc).
