Since my husband and I are now empty-nesters, the vacuum sealer is the perfect size for the two of us. With the sealer bags, I can freeze 1-1.5 lbs. of ground beef, a package of sausages or two pints of blueberries. I can seal two muffins in a bag and keep them fresh longer because of using the vacuum sealer. This unit is also perfect for sealing partially used blocks of cheese and for storing items like nuts in my pantry to give fresh food a longer shelf life. The vacuum sealer comes with 5 bags. The unit is the perfect size (approximately 10.4 inches wide, 6.5 inches deep and 2.5 inches high) for people who have limited cupboard space in their kitchens. I keep the unit in a kitchen drawer, but could also keep it on the counter because it is not large. The cord wraps around the back of the unit which also helps with reducing the storage space required for the unit. If you’re like me and don’t like bulky stuff on your countertops then you will love this vacuum sealer. It’s compact, fits right in a drawer which is easier to use then my other bulky one that i never take down because it’s so big. It is quick to vacuum and seal. Definitely a keeper in my kitchen!!! The bags that come with it are a nice size so if you don’t have big items to seal you can cut them in half and seal one end and now you have extra bags. I even tried my other bags from my other sealer and they work so I think you would be able to use anything. Only thing i wish was different on this unit is the cord, needs to be longer, but overall a great vacuum sealer!!!!

This vacuum sealer is a mini -- a compact gadget that looks nice on the counter but does a great job. It takes just a moment to quickly seal your leftovers. It looks great and does the same thing as my larger bulkier sealer I previously used. I can leave it out all the time or tuck it away in a drawer. Because it is little it is easy to handle and store. Love it.

This is a nice little vacuum sealer. It is a nice compact size for easy storage. It is easy to operate and works well. Keep in mind this is a mini sealer so you can only use a max or 8 inch wide bags or sealing rolls. Comes with a 5 pack of starter bags. Recommended!

We’ve used zip lock bags, containers and other methods to store food in our pantry, fridge and freezer. This is a much better way to go! It’s a simple contraption to use but sucks the air out of the bag and seals in a matter of seconds, allowing the food to remain fresh much longer and stay protected. Just line up the bag in the machine, press down for several seconds as it vacuum seals and the light blinks, and voila. I was impressed with how the air was sucked out completely. Can’t wait to keep finding new ways to use it!

Not much to this machine. Very straight forward operation. Put the items you want sealed in the bag, place the edge of the bag on the seal bar, then close the lid and press down on the left and right side of the lid to begin suction and sealing, once done press the middle button to release. The machine came with 5 sample bags. I also had some FoodSaver Brand Bags and I am glad to report they work on this machine as well. The sealing maximum width is 8.6 inches. I would recommend.

I like that this little vacuum sealer is as capable as the bigger ones, but is small enough to store in my limited space kitchen. I tested it out first on a few slices of bread and it sucked the air out so tight that it was reduced to half it's size! So now that I know how it works I cut a huge block of cheese in half and vacuum sealed those for later use and am thrilled with the result.
It can either vacuum seal, or just seal if you have something that is more liquid in nature. Both choices work well. You do have to make sure to push the left side down firmly, if you don't it won't start vacuuming out the air. There is a small white button (dot seen in the picture with the cheese block) on the left hand side that needs to make contact with the lid in order to start the vacuuming process. Once that starts you can let go and it will keep working until it's vacuumed and sealed. The blinking blue light means that it is sealing. If you don't want the suction you can just seal it. The instructions are very clear on how to do this. It comes with 5 or 6 bags to start with.
I find it perfect for making smaller portions of items like a large block of cheese in order to make them last longer for just my husband and I but I think it would work well for anyone who wants a smaller machine that works as well as the larger ones without taking up as much space.

This machine can only be used with the small roll vacuum bags. Every bag we used vacuum sealed properly and the machine is very easy to use. Both hands need to hold down both sides and if only a seal is required the button on the left needs to be pressed which allows a partial vacuum seal if that is what is needed for let's say some soft food products. Two hooks on back of product allow for cord storage which is also a nice feature.

Have always been curious in a vacuum sealer but didn’t really want to invest allot so decided to give budget priced one a try. Happy I did! I purchased some chicken on special and separated in individual portions and will be protected from freezer burn. Also marinated one and the vacuum allowed for quick penetration of the sauce. Instructions were not the best but nothing beats YouTube anyway.
