I bought vacuum sealer rolls from another brand, and they work OK, but they are more of a hassle to use. These bags are tougher, and just the right size for almost everything I vacuum seal. They work perfectly with my Kikomo vacuum sealer. I don't know what it is, but I get more air out of these bags than the other brand. Look at the pics, and see how tight they are. They sound like a drum when I smack them! I even used them to protect a "puncture resistant" (NOT!) lunchbox ice pack that proved to be a little less puncture resistant than advertised. After I vacuum sealed it (the second one) in one of these bags, it's puncture resistant now!!
