Does this have a cutter? I don't see one in the picture, even though the description says it does.

Answer: Yes , there is a sliding cutter on the other side of the sealer. It works well.

Answer: It has no cutter. The heat seals the bad and almost cuts it for you. You will be able to just pull the extra off.

Answer: No, you use it to seal plastic bags, Mylar pouches etc.

Answer: I wouldn’t think. Just make sure you have them away from the edge of sealer when closing.

can this sealer be used with an 8 to 10 in bag?

Answer: Yes, absolutely. You can go up to a 12 inch bag. It also has a handy cutter attached. Thus feature gives a crisp look to the sealed/finished package.

Didnt open right away, but when I finally did the sealer did not work. Feel it's to late to send back, very disappointed.

Well made and a lot of bang for the buck! Stops heating when bag is sealed and can be adjusted to that end. Came with replacement heating elements and Teflon strips which also allowed us to repair our old unit!

JUNK...JUNK...JUNK...... DON'T BUY!!!! Received a used item, may have been returned from previous customer, item was defective. Requested replacement. Second item sent was a bigger piece of junk. light would not go on unless you pulled it to the right then down. Still at that it did not seal. no heat at all. Do not buy!!! I have never been so disappointed with a product like this.

Look like picture.. works ok I just would like the seal line to give a more professional seal with out the plastic webs when removing sealed bags.

La compre desde abril y apenas le di uso el día de hoy, pero que me llevo una sorpresa que al tratar de sellar la bolsa, pues que nada, no calienta, al bajarla se supone que se prende la resistencia, nada más prende el foco rojo pero sin calentarse. Muy mal la verdad.
