Answer: I'm not sure. I know the rolls are too big for me to be able to close my food saver, but it is a different model. Width is fine though.
Answer: Yes. But you need to divide the rolls into two rolls. You can roll the half rolls onto your old core or you can probably just roll it around itself without a core. Works fine I think the thickness is the same as the seal a meal brand.

Answer: All you need do is cut the bag to the size you want and seal the open sides, but don't place the bag far enough into the sealer for the vacuum to operate. After sealing all the open sides except one, put in the food product and seal the last side, this time placing the bag into the sealer far enough to be affected by the vacuum. In normal operation, I like to seal the open end of the roll so it is ready for the next use.

The only issue i had with these sealer rolls is that they are a tad thinner than the Name-brand rolls. As a result, i would not seal anything that has sharp edges/points like roughly clefted meat bones or screws and nails. you will most certainly lose the vacuum seal sooner or later. Otherwise, the plastic works fine with most foods and has both the smooth and channeled surfaces.

I used the bags that came with the Food Saver machine and it was pretty difficult to use for some reason. I got these and the first thing I tried was to seal some dog treats. They came out hard as a brick so I don't know what bags Food Saver is using but they need to switch to these. I took an old paper towel roll and created two 25' rolls and it fits in my machine perfectly. Oh yes, bags I think are made in China which is good since the Food Saver I bought is also made in China!

These vacuum bag rolls work great and you can make the size you need with very little waste. I have not had any failures to seal and the plastic is sturdy. Label your bag with a marker, date it and in the freezer. I can buy family packs of meat for less and separate them at home for the freezer. A vacuum sealer is a great thing to have and not expensive. They save money actually.

They came out hard as a brick so I don't know what bags Food Saver is using but they need to switch to these. I took an old paper towel roll and created two 25' rolls and it fits in my machine perfectly. Oh yes, bags I think are made in China which is good since the Food Saver I bought is also made in China!

I like these better than name brand. I make different sizes ahead and use them as needed! And they are reusable depending on what’s stored in them. Reseal well with continued use too.

Disappointed in how these turned out. Thought my sealer was toast, switched back to regular Vacuum Sealer Food Saver Brand bags and it worked fine. These will work for non food related sealing fine, but definitely wouldn't recommend for food.
Miss Gail : This works surprisingly well
I had a few false starts with it but now I figured it out. At first I put cold leftover meat in it and a little bit of the jellied juices were the bag. Well, they got sucked into the edge of the bag and made the black sponge things wet. So I washed them and dried the machine and started again with a little juice. That made the edges wet and they didn't seal again. Finally I made sure the edges I wanted to seal were dry and I started again. This time it worked beautifully! I bought a roll of bag material and sealed one and and cut it. I put meat in and it barely fit. So guess what? it didn't pull a vacuum and seal. So I learned to leave enough material at the edge of the bag. In all cases it was operator error. So once I learned how to use it it is doing fine and I keep cooking and sealing!

Great price. Save the inner cardboard tube from the original Foodsaver bags so you can roll this material onto the old tube to fit inside your machine. They seem a bit thicker than the original and seal just fine. They don't have the little white patch to write on like the original bags, but a sharpy pen works fine to write on the edges of the bag.

I thought these were great and had ordered them in the past. However, this time they seem to get tiny holes from being frozen. They seem to work fine when I am vacuuming the package for the freezer. However, I sometimes put frozen packages in cool water to thaw quickly. Every time I tried to quick thaw, I found the water was going into the package. There must be tiny holes that I can't see allowing the water to enter. It's unacceptable for my purpose and wouldn't work for sous vide either.

Erik Bledsoe : Just as Good as the National Brand
I was VERY skeptical about ordering these. I have always ordered the national brand to use with my vacuum sealer and these are a much cheaper option. Have used them several times already and had ZERO issues. They are just as thick and durable as the ones I have purchased for years. Put these side by side with the name brand and I don't think you can tell the difference. I will be ordering again and again. Great find to save money!

Speedy delivery!! Was a bit concerned on how the quality would be since these 2 rolls were such a great deal. Used them the day I got them and they are GREAT. I use a paper cutter for cutting so the edges are straight, no problems with sealing and the thickness is perfect.

Tom G : the most economic bags I have found
These vacuum bag rolls work great and you can make the size you need with very little waste. I have not had any failures to seal and the plastic is sturdy. Label your bag with a marker, date it and in the freezer. I can buy family packs of meat for less and separate them at home for the freezer. A vacuum sealer is a great thing to have and not expensive. They save money actually.

Yep, these work just fine. Be sure to keep in mind how much space you may have behind, or inside of your sealer. In my case, I had to "roll off" a third of each roll to fit inside my vacuum sealer storage slot. Not the fault of the product or the seller, but I though you all should know.

I bought these for my food save but the rolls are too big to fit.NO PROBLEM ,I just cut them with scissors to the size I want. Extremely large rolls, sturdy material ,I actually re- use some of them. Will buy again. Two different sizes. Actually fit 1/2 of a small watermelon in the big one

I make a lot of freezer meals and go through a lot freezer bags so I always try to get the most for my money. I have used these bags for a while now with very good results. I prefreeze lots of meals for vacation and these bags have not let me down even with being loaded in a cooler in the back of a car for 15 hour or more drives, nor have they failed me while bumping around in an RV for several days. (and ours rides pretty rough!) I have successfully frozen soups/chili and put the frozen bags in a pot of water and boiled them.
The only downside is that the rolls are too big to fit in my sealer but that is not an issue for me, I just unroll until it fits, cut the extra off and roll it up and tape it up for later.

These bags are fantastic!! My husband was insistent that I buy the “name brand” rolls... when these came in, he was reluctant... Now he is a believer!!! These bags are BETTER THAN TGE NAME BRAND!! It’s a win/win, you save $$, get more product and get a stronger product!! This was a fantastic find!!
