There are three different Ned Rig Jig Kits in three different hook styles for various conditions. First is the standard mushroom style Ned Jig with a round bend jig hook with a built-in bait keeper. Answer: I purchased the Mad Bite jig package in the EWG mushroom style so that my Ned rig TRD presentation is weedless. While not identified on the packaging, the size of the hook appears to be 1/0. Good luck!

Great value. I lose Ned jigs often when I’m fishing the Mississippi River and these were exactly what I needed. Lighter wire hooks but still a good hookup ratio. Love the EWG style for a more weed less option! Will definitely be buying more

I usually buy Flatland Tackle or Lifted Weedless hooks but these are so much cheaper. Some may complain about the quality of the hooks but Ned hooks are supposed to be thin. Personally I think these are just as good and sharp as anything you’ll find.

This is a great set of EWG ned rig jigs. Compared to the Zman Bulletz EWG hooks, these may not be quite as weedless due to the shape of the head. On the other hand, they will stand up better with the mushroom head vs the pointed head. I will have to put these to the test of time, but overall, they look like a great option to fish a ned style rig in thicker areas.

I would be considered by most as a high end gear snob, due to the amount of money I spend on gear and tools to bass fish. I was highly skeptical of the hooks for this price and can tell you I have been amazed of the strength and sharpness of these hoods. They are EWG Hooks which make them as weed-less as hoods can be. the yellow heads are deadly when the sun starts to go down! I fish local competition and have converted several other bass fisherman to these hooks! As a gear head I will tell you that you would pay at least a dollar per hook for this quality from any other brand!

Great little jig head for a fun technique to chase fish (Ned rig). However, it seems some things were missed by quality control - hook bends outside of the head and hook eyes not closed. For the most part, great kit; but those few that weren't built properly are likely to fail or end up in the trash.
