How much does each lure weight?

Answer: Not sure the exact weight, but they are about as big a lure as I would ever use for bass fishing. They weigh enough that you can certainly cast them a long way.

How about the action on the water?

Answer: I like the tail design on these . It gives the lure more action and more life like rather than reel something in that looks dead

Answer: They are swim baits. Cast them out and retrieve at different speeds. The fish will tell you what and how they want it!! Good luck!

Answer: Only fast retrieval, the balance on them is off. Go to slow they swim sideways, the swim depth is 3ft.

can you catch a strip bass with this?

Answer: of course!! its all in the presentation.

Should i use a swivel with these?

Answer: In most instances an appropriately sized swivel is fine. In addition to making lure changes quick and easy, swivels help keep lures with spinning action from twisting up your line and causing tangles or poor lure presentation. However, if you are trying to entice that big wary trout in a clear mountain stream swivels greatly diminish your chances of success. So it depends on what your intended mission is.

Answer: I usually do use a swivel to make changing lures easier and faster. Wiith this particular lure all of the action is in the tail so a swivel isn't necessary.

I tried this shad lure this evening and I caught 2 nice largemouth bass with it in about a half hour. This picture is the lure with the orange tail. It is mostly in the fish's mouth though. Great lure but probably won't last too long because of the soft nature of the material but seems worth the money. Would buy again

I bought these to replace my beloved banjo minnows that are no longer in production. These look great in the water and we have caught countless bass on them. My only issue is that they are already starting to look beat up, so I don’t think they are very durable. They are kind of expensive for how worn looking they are getting, but I’m still getting good results, so we ordered some more. Hopefully they all last.

Got these for my dad for father's day. He was very happy and has already used them. You get 6 in the pack and it's inexpensive but they seem durable. He lives on a lake that is stocked with large mouth bass, crappie, brim and catfish. These are perfect size and color too show up in lake. Maybe I'll come back and post a bass picture when he sends me one!!

I love the 4.7" Swimbaits. Natural colors, nice swimming action, nice head movement, and nice body roll. Awesome hook assembly with the magnet to keep the hook snug against the bait, keeping it up off the bottom. Only drawback is when you speed up, they turn sideways. But when that happens, you can pull it up to the surface and it makes a cool buzz bait. So its all good.

Some reason fish didnt really chase these, smaller fish would bite at them but, not the bigger ones. Even with the hidden hook they easily get snagged. But i also was using them in a river not in a lake, so maybe they would do better in a lake.

Product worked great at attracting bites, caught off back to back casts. They problem however is the hook isn't extremely durable and they twisted and split which allowed them to pass through the loop they sit in. With pliers I managed to bend them half way back in place.

Been using these in MN. Catches Largemouth Bass and Pike. Quite satisfied with this purchase. They are pretty weighty, but are slow to sink. Great swim action when reeling in at a fast to medium speed. The double hook is placed in a good location and have not had any issues hooking any bites.
