What do you use to attach hook to the jig,mine is worn out

Answer: We use special high quality Kevlar & PE assist cord, materials from Japan. You can google on Amazon "Line for assist hook" (100 pound cord should be enough), there are some material sellers.

Answer: We caught Blue fin tuna over 500Lb every year in Prince Edward Island . YFT are even more powerful fish than BFT( with the strong Vertical long fin) , I strongly recommend go big Size jigging hooks .

Answer: Yes！ its best for Amberjack , Snapper,( red snapper, mutton snapper , Cubera snapper, Mangrove snapper) groupers...... if fishing for toothfish (like cudas or mackerel)) better with 30-40Lb steel wire leaders. (length : 6 inches to 14 inches)

Answer: These are great, but get something lighter for surf. The 80 gram size sink fast. Try something between 25 and 60 grams.

Answer: I really don't belive it would work on the surf because it has a bit of weight on it so it would sink easily, and, if you are in some shallow areas it would probably get stuck and you'll loose it.

What weight is size 5 and 7 in grams?

Answer: There are 28.349+ in a ounce .. so figure 30 to make it easy. So every 100 grams is a little more than 3ounce. So 150 grams would be 5ounces

Awesome product! Fishing for greater Amberjacks in northern Florida waters. We actually accidentally hooked a 300LB shark and the hook had no problem and it showed no signs of wear. The lure design is excellent and it’s much better for jigging fishing than older models. For the price, it’s definitely the best one on the market.

I really like this jig. Good action and easy to work on my jigging set up. I caught a bunch of amberjack on it as well as some grouper. Only reason I don't get it 5 stars is that the beautiful color finish on my jigs wore off pretty quickly. It needed another layer of protective coating otherwise the color accents just peel off after a few fish. Photo attached. Is there a chance I got a batch without a final polyurethane coating or something like that? White paint looks flat, too. Would like to order more because I really like the jig, but I am disappointed that the multicolor finish peeled off so quickly -- now it's just a white jig.

my fishing buddy give me couple of this jigs. he told me this one works good. He told me the truth! so I bought some myself last month , all colors works. Amberjack hummer it like crazy. Mutton take it like crazy, king take it like carzy,. This high speed jig can down to remarkable depth in pretty strong current, two sides of this jig are designed with different shape, make the jigging motions more alive. The jig is well made, the hook is super strong, the finish is durable. I have to buy some more, since kings take couple jig away from me.

I have used these in the Gulf of Mexico (Alabama) for 2 red snapper seasons. Snapper tear these up, with cut bait and live bait in the water these constantly outperform both. They work better than double the price Shimano butterfly jigs.
