My foodi does not have the dehydrator setting. will this still work on the air crisp setting for fried green tomatoes?

Answer: I would recommend 130 degrees since you don’t have a dehydrator setting . I would go for 5-6 hours . The slices should be the same size. They should be leathery not brittle . Remove the slices and let them finish drying completely . Look up what you want to dehydrate and you will have to go lower without the dehydrator setting. Hope this helps.

Answer: I’ve used it in conjunction with the air fryer function on my InstaPot with great success. As long as the food you’re cooking isn’t too thick I think it would work just fine.

Would it be useable to air fry barbecue ribs?

Answer: I dont see why not. You can layer food with it. You will have to figure how to make it uniform since it wont link together for thicker foods. I did a por chop and veggies a couple days ago

This is a great addition to your ninja foodi! Its technically a dehydrator rack but I've been using it for the air fryer setting so I can cook more at one time. It works great! And it's very sturdy, and you can flatten for easy storage.

If you bought them for the ninja helpful hints,soak it it the ninja pot you placed them in, however the rateing is not five stars because when I soaked them overnight the metal started to wear.i would suggest a soking of 1 or 2hours.and the oven gloves do get hot if you use them for your actual oven.for the dehydrate function they are fine but not your average oven mitts.they get hot.but overall, 2 hour soakings or one hour, everything just wipes right off even beef jerky.they stay in good shape.i would buy again

Seems sturdy. Not exactly what I was looking for but it will do just fine. If I was using it for dehydration I would want more space between layers. I am just using it to raise the height of meats in the air fryer.

It is way to small for 8 at. Width and height shorter than factory rack. The silicone mits are a complete joke. Stainless steel seems to be good quality.

I'm trying to find a dehydration rack where you can use only three of the five tiers so I can air fry a larger amount of chicken wings. Since this rack relies on stacking each tray, that is not possible with this product.

This rack is easy to clean and fits perfectly in my Instant Pot Duo Crisp. I used it to make beef jerky. I sprayed the racks with cooking spray to prevent the beef from sticking. I didn’t have anything stuck after cooking. The rack Is dishwasher safe.

I used the silicone mitts for my inner ninja pot and they melted. Probably my fault because I used them on a really hot insert but wasn't aware of any temperature limits of the Mitts.

The rack itself is very well made and works as expected.

I am VERY pleased with the 5 layer dehydrator rack. It is very well made with the wires at least twice as thick as wire racks that came with my Instant Pot. The soldering is very well done. I was able to do a pound of beef to make beef jerky with a little room left over. I like that you can choose how many racks you want to use. One of the racks is a bit taller than the others if you want to cook more than a single layer of, say, chicken wings (this doesn't have to be just for dehydrating). The meat did not stick to the racks (I didn't think to spray them). For storage purposes, the side holders fold down and the racks can nest. This product gets 5 stars from me. It does come with two little silicone "mitts" which is a nice touch, but not necessary. I would definately buy other products from this manufacturer!! Just FYI, I am brand new to Instant Pot type cooking. I wasn't sure how to do this, so I just put the dehydrating rack in the inner pot and it worked just fine. This was the second thing I made.

When I was looking for a dehydrator rack for my Foodi, I first looked to the official accessory. It cost 50% more than this rack and the reviews were pretty mediocre. I decided to take a chance on this rack because it had better reviews and a better price. I am glad I did. This rack is sturdy. When properly assembled, you don't feel like you're trying to balance it to keep it from collapsing. It fits into the Foodi (8 qt) very well. Not much else to say; it's a good quality rack at a good price.
