My foodi does not have the dehydrator setting. will this still work on the air crisp setting for fried green tomatoes?

Answer: I would recommend 130 degrees since you don’t have a dehydrator setting . I would go for 5-6 hours . The slices should be the same size. They should be leathery not brittle . Remove the slices and let them finish drying completely . Look up what you want to dehydrate and you will have to go lower without the dehydrator setting. Hope this helps.

Answer: I’ve used it in conjunction with the air fryer function on my InstaPot with great success. As long as the food you’re cooking isn’t too thick I think it would work just fine.

Would it be useable to air fry barbecue ribs?

Answer: I dont see why not. You can layer food with it. You will have to figure how to make it uniform since it wont link together for thicker foods. I did a por chop and veggies a couple days ago

I used the pot holders which were included and they immediately melted on a baking dish I had. Apparently they are only good for temperatures you might experience in the low heat dehydration process so beware and don't get injured.

I really love my dehydrating rack! I didn't realize I needed it and had so much use for it until I got it!
SO many things you can use it for and it's very easy to use once you first learn how to assemble.
Only thing I would suggest is adding a little assembly card to know how to correctly stack the racks.
The hot pads are awesome too!

It worked pretty well. Beef jerky turned out nice. It stuck though. I had to soak it to get it clean. Hard to get apart when stacked. Easy to assemble though. I like that they can be used as racks to stack other baskets for steaming too. Would buy again it's just hard to get apart when put away. Oh and ps the items really do stick!! omg annoying

Love it and use it for so many things, aw bacon is beautiful and awesome cooked in Multi Pot cant cook any other way now and this makes it so you can do a lb all at once. I am VERY pleased with the 5 layer dehydrator rack. It is very well made with the wires at least twice as thick as wire racks that came with my Instant Pot. The soldering is very well done. I was able to do a pound of beef to make beef jerky with a little room left over. I like that you can choose how many racks you want to use. One of the racks is a bit taller than the others if you want to cook more than a single layer of, say, chicken wings (this doesn't have to be just for dehydrating). The meat did not stick to the racks (I didn't think to spray them). For storage purposes, the side holders fold down and the racks can nest. This product gets 5 stars from me. It does come with two little silicone "mitts" which is a nice touch, but not necessary. I would definately buy other products from this manufacturer!! Just FYI, I am brand new to Instant Pot type cooking. I wasn't sure how to do this, so I just put the dehydrating rack in the inner pot and it worked just fine. This was the second thing I made.

If you bought them for the ninja helpful hints,soak it it the ninja pot you placed them in, however the rateing is not five stars because when I soaked them overnight the metal started to wear.i would suggest a soking of 1 or 2hours.and the oven gloves do get hot if you use them for your actual oven.for the dehydrate function they are fine but not your average oven mitts.they get hot.but overall, 2 hour soakings or one hour, everything just wipes right off even beef jerky.they stay in good shape.i would buy again

This is a great rack. I used this rack inside of my ninja foodi pressure cooker. (It’ll fit in all sized cookers I believe, mine is 8 quart)
I chose this over the ninja one. This rack has the cool benefit of allowing you to position each rack exactly how you want.

I used this already to dehydrate marshmallows, jerky, and fruits.

It is very hard to clean each rack though, as would be with all racks like this.

I used the silicone mitts for my inner ninja pot and they melted. Probably my fault because I used them on a really hot insert but wasn't aware of any temperature limits of the Mitts.

The rack itself is very well made and works as expected.

I love this stack of racks. They stack well and you can use them individually. I made some great beef jerky using these, and clean-up was pretty easy if you have a brush. I've also used them for the Sous Vide mode on my instant pot to hold the steaks under water and keep them off the bottom. They're great for cooling and frying thinner foods. I'm going to try dehydrating fruit next.

When I was looking for a dehydrator rack for my Foodi, I first looked to the official accessory. It cost 50% more than this rack and the reviews were pretty mediocre. I decided to take a chance on this rack because it had better reviews and a better price. I am glad I did. This rack is sturdy. When properly assembled, you don't feel like you're trying to balance it to keep it from collapsing. It fits into the Foodi (8 qt) very well. Not much else to say; it's a good quality rack at a good price.

Finally got the opportunity to use this rack, I was able to dehydrate 4 lbs. of beef jerky in two batches. It took a little figuring out to get them stacked correctly but they finally came together. Easy clean up in the dishwasher.

I'm trying to find a dehydration rack where you can use only three of the five tiers so I can air fry a larger amount of chicken wings. Since this rack relies on stacking each tray, that is not possible with this product.

This is a great addition to your ninja foodi! Its technically a dehydrator rack but I've been using it for the air fryer setting so I can cook more at one time. It works great! And it's very sturdy, and you can flatten for easy storage.

Seems to be good quality, but the dimensions are not as advertised. The diameter of the rack with the feet is 8 5/16". It's advertised as 7.87".

Without the feet the rack is 7.87". But with the feet it won't fit in my 6 qt Instant Pot. Disappointed. Was looking forward to using this. Instead, it's going back to the seller.

This rack is very sturdy. I put the base in place in my 8qt instant pot and stacked the trays with lots of separated onion slices as I added layers. Really crammed them in loosely, even overflowing the trays!!! Set the temp in the air lid to 140. Took 6ish hours and I had 1 qt of lightly crushed onions dried to perfection.
