I buy vacuum sealer bags regularly as I vacuum pack clothes that I sell on eBay for posting. This way, they can be sent as a large letter so it's much cheaper, especially if you're posting lots of things. I actually have started using these in the kitchen (as they're intended to be used for!) and it's been a great way to extend the life of fridge foods.
TIP: Don't try to vacuum pack mince meat! I made this error and ended up with meat juice/blood being sucked up and it made a huge mess everywhere! ????

These work very well with a vacuum sealer. I prefer the bags to the rolls as it is easier to put prepared foods such as stir-fries and pasta with sauce in a bag and then seal it.

The quart bags are BADLY curled on the sides due to box being to small and the way they were packed. The bags seal O.K., but due to the curl it's harder to put them into the vacuum machine. Hopefully they will flatten out over time.
