Answer: In my opinion it’s not deep enough to hold a aggressive snake

What does the net measure from one side to the other? Want to scoop leaves out of a pool filter basket in icy water.

Rust easy?

Answer: Not at all. It's awesome. We fish all the time and have had for over a year and not one bit of rust. The handle is actually hard plastic and the rim has not rusted it at all. I love it

Answer: Return and reorder. You should get an email from the company in a day or 2 asking about your satisfaction. Contact them directly and see if they can send you directly the correct colors. If not return to amazon and reorder.

Product wasn’t what I expected. The product is plastic and more like a toy than a bait net. Received one in pink and one in orange which isn’t shown on the picture.

Probably an ok net for freshwater minnows or for kids to use but I needed something that will hold up to ocean fishing

I put this little net to heavy use right away. Used it in the stream to catch crawdads. I scraped it on the rocky bottom, snagged it on the twigs, and abused it every which way. The net performed to my expectations and survived in decent enough shape to see another day. A bucket full of crawdads would attest to this story except that they perished in a boiling pot of water a few weeks ago.

The construction is solid. Netting holds up to heavy abuse as described above. Frame is sturdy metal wire and does not bend. The frame attachment to the handle is solid. It does not give and does not wiggle even after heavy use. The handle itself appears to be made of hardwood. Survived being submersed in water for 8 hours with no visible damage.

The price was better than what I saw them ask for similar nets in local brick and mortar store. Overall I found this net to be exactly as described and it performed exactly to my expectations. I would buy one again.

I would give zero stars. This product was described as 5ft wooden net and what I got was one foot long for a baby to use. This won’t work for the purpose I needed and was false advertising/product description. Do not buy if you want a 5 foot long handle as described. They’re requiring me to pay return shipping which costs about the same as the item itself.

This “Floating net” is not worthy of actually floating. The end cap was lose as I literally took it out of the box. The end seems to be fused with wax !BUT! It’s not completely sealed as it should meaning it will not be able to float.

I purchased this particular net because the description say “floating”. It will not float in the conditions as I received it.

I was disappointed in the overall quality. I read a lot of reviews on different nets and should have heeded the reviews. I thought that maybe the negative reviews were from rougher use, no. After one day at the beach, the handle was already bending. I can see it being totally bent within one or two more uses. If you have a "gentle" kid, then this is probably perfect for you. I have non-gentle 7 & 8 year old boys that REALLY like to catch the little fish at the shoreline at the beach. The net wasn't abused - just used with passion and it did not hold up.

We have a small pond in our backyard that has a few resident minnows living in it - of course this means that my children need to torture them... enter these floating nets. A group of 5 year olds has spent the entire Summer chasing creatures around and this net has survived it all.
