Smith's Mr. Crappie Slab-O-Matic electric fillet knife has been designed and tested to have the best airflow on the market. The cooling vents and handle placement will ensure endless cleaning capability for that big haul. The Slab-O-Matic comes with a 7" stainless steel blade with sheath your added protection during storage. The only electric fillet knife kit on the market that comes with a 4-1/2" Stainless Steel Ribcage blade with sheath. Also included is an XL fillet glove for your added protection. Storage of the Slab-O-Matic will be easy when stored in the Marine grade mesh bag.

Answer: over use- need to use it in short burst not continually- or return it - if its within the correct time frame.

Answer: maybe you got a lemon, idk, I know I got my old man one and he has used it to clean tons of brim and catfish...you might check your electrical outlet too if its the wrong voltage it will make the knife heat up. I also have a rappla which I use to cut various meats which I bought one for him and it wore out so maybe its sort the luck of the catch? I use my rappla once a month and he uses his green knife all the time. Dont know if that helps or not.
Answer: You don’t. I had two of the them and they both kicked the blades out continually while in use. Complete JUNK!!! Do not waste your money.

Answer: Rappla sells a very nice one which can also be plugged into your car,boat,houseboat lightersocket,(do they still make those?). and or into your electrical socket at home. I have yet to see a battery operated KNIFE that was worth the cost.

Answer: I have cleaned 15 fish with my new Mr Crappie- it worked well for me

Answer: If you do a search for them, I am sure they sell them somewhere. I have bought replacement blades for other knives. But you will have to buy them yourself.

I had this knife only 2 months, cleaned maybe 100 small fish and it quit working motor wont start. I see alot bad reviews, can I get a refund?
Answer: I do not know. You will have to ask the seller. Most electric knives have a six month warrenty and or lifetime depending on the manufactor.

This knife set really sucks. Sorry but that’s what came to mind. I used it cleaning about 24 crappie and after about 5 crappies in I stop using it. You can see me using Eletric knives on my YouTube channel. I teach people how to use them and this one I didn’t make a video on. It was that bad.

I decided to try this brand and I am completely disappointed. I sent the first one back due to a defect. The second one also has a defect and I do not have an option to send it back.
During the first use, the blades would not stay together. Obviously a defective unit. The knife was replaced and the replacement knife also had a defect. The blades ejected themselves from the knife while in use. It is my opinion that these knives are poorly designed and will not last very long.

Bought x2 for a trip.. 1 blade on each side wouldn't move.. on both units. Very disappointed. Had to filet 500 fish the old fashion way.. I lol because a bought x2 just in case
