Where do you put the bait?

Answer: Inside the trap, for crawfish I like fatty pork.

When I retreive the fishing net after my catch, etc... have entered the net, how do I stop my catch from falling out the opening hole in the center?

Answer: We were trying to catch minnows for bait. It worked well until our grandson left it in the water overnight. The next morning, we had a fairly large turtle feasting in the umbrella. Removal not for the faint of heart. I like the hole, wish it were larger.
