Answer: Yes, the app lets you maintain all your inventory. You can search and sort it by name, estimated expiration date, scan date, etc.

Wowww!! What a technology!!!! How does the tracking and expiration of the app works?

Answer: Thank you! The app estimates the expiration of many foods stored at different temperatures. The app allows you to track the expiration date of your foods. You have the option of specifying where you stored the food.

How many times can these be reuse?

Answer: The bags and stickers are single use.

Can you set app to remind you before something is about to expire? I tend to freeze stuff and forget about it until it’s too late ☹️

Answer: That's coming in our next release of the app. Right now, you'll be able to sort the foods you've scanned by expiration date, date scanned, location, etc.

Do we need to enter the info like date we stored, and expiration date?

Answer: Date you stored is entered automatically. The estimated expiration date is calculated automatically.

Does this work on my iPhone XR?

Answer: Yes, works on my XR.

Do these bags work with any type of vacuum sealer machine or only specific ones?

Answer: These bags should work with all clamp style vacuum seal devices.

Are the bags reusable

Answer: The bags are reusable, but you have to be careful. You have to cut off the portion was sealed and make sure the portion of the bag you seal is dry. Otherwise, the liquid will get sucked out by the vacuum and may interfere with the sealing.

Answer: Depends on how you use then. Once you seal a bag, you have to cut the portion that was sealed off in order to reuse the bag.

Answer: I wash them out and dry, then reuse. Have had no problem, with doing this.

Are these waterproof?

Answer: Yes, the bags are waterproof. However, keep in mind if you sous vide, the sticker will likely fall off the bag. Otherwise, the sticker will stay on even when the bag is in the freezer or fridge.

Can these bags go in the microwave?

Answer: Yes

How many devices in one household can you set up the app with for your bags?

How does the scan code work exactly? Is it automatic or are there fields I can input?

Answer: You place the sticker on the non food portion of the bag and then scan it with our SeelSmart app. Then enter the form fields in the app. Only the food description and storage temperature are required.

Do you need to type all of the information in the app or are there drop-down options?

Answer: You don't need to. Just keywords (carrots, peas in fridge, etc.). Drop down has options to sort your bags.

Is the app work with IPhone?

Answer: Yes, iPhone, iPad, and Android.
