Can this work with liquid like foods such as chili?

Answer: Hi,I pre-freeze things like chili, soups, stews etc. I keep plastic containers just for this purpose in 2 different sizes, rectangular in shape. Pop the food out when frozen and vacuum seal in a bag. really easy to stack in freezer this way.

Will this sealer re-seal a bag of lettuce/salad or other items bought at the store that comes in a plastic bag?

Answer: Hi,smooth bags can only be sealed without vacuuming. I recommend for special vacuum bags with textured for sealing.

How long does it take to heat and does it turn off automatically after some time??

Answer: Hi,the time used to seal the bag would depend on the size and contents of the bag. Vacuum/Suction Strength is 12L/min. It usually take 6 ~10 seconds for only sealing process.

Can you use the bags for sous vide?

Answer: Yes, our bags are sturdy enough to put in simmering water. It would be sure to get all the air out and get a good seal.

Can you use small bags in this like 5x7cm??

Answer: Hi，yes you can use small bags with this machine,I use all sorts of different bag sizes with it.

Where can I buy the cannister attachment?

Russell Jones : Decent vacuum sealer. Could be sturdier.

Works fine, even with my old food saver bags. Good vacuum. The unit small and doesn’t get in the way, but it is very lightweight. I wish it were heavier and stayed in place better. The top doesn’t always stay up when open. Indicator lights can be difficult to see in bright light. Mine came with surface damage - a large smudge or scrape and some nicks (see photo). The packaging was not damaged so factory Quality Control may be at play. The external hose adapter was not compatible with any of my existing vacuum containers, but my existing food saver hose worked with this unit.
