Corona had me trapped in the house and I needed to get out. It is not cold enough for ice fishing yet so I dusted off my old fly fishing rod bought this collection of flies and out I went. The assortment was perfect even though my fishing was terrible. I did catch a trout but the important thing was I got out for a day on the water and loved it. This assortment of flies was perfect for me and got me through a day of fishing.

First of all I would like to say, these flies are just soooooo much cheaper than any other flies I can find. The price of flies is incredibly high right now. As you can see in the pictures I posted above, they have the same amount of detail of a much more expensive set of flies. These flies do not just look realistic but they are extremely durable. I fished a few thicker and bigger (black wooly buggers) with a spin rod to catch some smallies. However when I used my fly rod, sometimes flies fall apart from extensive use or hitting them on things or catching many fish. I have caught largemouth, trout, and smallies with these flies over the past couple weeks and haven’t had a problem with any flies falling apart. These flies are out performing my expectations and many other flies on the market at under half the price. I see many flies are 2-3$ each now. If you want a starter kit or just a big variety of flies to try out and are wondering what to buy... BUY THESE. You can’t go wrong for the price.

Let me start out with the case. The case is made of very sturdy plastic and has a very nice hinge and clasp. It also has a rubber gasket to seal the lid.
The Flies seem to be tied very nicely. Definitely has a nice variety of flies. You get 77 flies in this kit.

This product was a great score! I was thinking it may be just another sorry attempt to make a few fly lures that last a few fishing trips, boy-o-boy was I wrong! Not only do they look as close to the real thing, the hooks aren't to big or small, and they fly great! A person may need to punch through the eye with something a little stronger than fly line, other than that I'd buy them again if these ever wear out. Very well made and the box they came with is great too. I have not had any problems on my long day at the lake and you shouldn't either!

I'm just getting started fly fishing, and bought these as a cheap alternative to the flies sold in my local shop, which are much more expensive. I'm still at the point where I lose flies in trees, whip them off the line, etc. and it's much better to lose a $0.25 fly than a $2 fly.
I've caught a few fish with them, but I don't have the experience to compare them to more expensive flies in that regard.

I’m a beginner for fly fishing so I was excited to have a variety of flies to try out and learn how they can be used. The colors pop a lot and the flies sit on the water with ease. None of these sunk below the water which was a big plus. The carrying case is water tight and seems pretty durable to withstand being tossed in my bag when I switch up fishing spots. I’d love to see more of these in variety of different inspects like bees, mosquitoes, etc.

This is a really awesome assorted set of flies! The price point is also great for the number of them you get. The case that the flies come in is pretty nice too. Nice and compact and has a good clasp to keep it closed on the side. It fits right in my pocket! The kit is great for panfish and trout. I'm only using them for panfish, I don't have any trout close to my area. It a great selection of colors and looks. I have thoroughly enjoyed them!!

I never tried fly fishing, as I thought it's too much workout for my! However, I learned on YouTube that you can use fly fishing flies without "fly fishing" so I thought I have nothing to lose! Good thought! These things are nice and crafty! Some of them are not a hit-maybe the color or the design, but those shiny small ones really catch trout! I only went out once, so more updates to follow, but for now, I love the assortment and the tiny box they came in! Good stuff! Happy Fishing everyone!

When you see lures that are in a kit, especially when there is a high quantity for how low the price is the first thing I thought was that there is no way these can be as good as the reviews. But the reason I am here is because of the reviews. Because of them they made me want to see what these were all about. When I received them first thing was to rip it open to see the awesome flies everyone was talking about. Bees, bugs, flies, mosquitos you name it they looked exactly like them. You could tell the effort that went into these. And now even better I do have to scout the area first with no flies to match. Now I show up and have multiple choices for the insects in that area. These flies are nice, but they seem a little “fragile”. What happens is that they survive some casts, but then start to move out of place (the string/floats). Some are better than others, but otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this product (durability-wise).
