Answer: No, it is a separate item. It isn't cheap but appears to be well made. Since I'm a new owner don't know how it will wear. There is a large amount of material it fits nicely, even covering the propane tank (at least the top valve) and the Sidekick with an accessory box on top.
Answer: No you will need to order that separately. The Camp Chef Nylon 36" Heavy Duty Pellet Grill Patio Cover will fit.

With most pellet grills you aren't smoking when you're past 275 Degrees. With the adjustable smoke level can you still smoke above 275?
Answer: The adjustable smoke should allow for it. I did a tomahawk at 325 and had smoke. I also did a pork roast at 300 and had plenty of smoke. I’d guess above 350 you might start noticing less smoke
Answer: I think the adjustment ends at 300, after that it’s considered high temp range. Not that it won’t go higher than this. The Camp Chef will get 500 plus and will seat with the sliding grate
Answer: Yes! You can smoke up to 500 degrees. It is also adjustable between direct and in direct heat so it can used for grilling, as well

Product reviews of Camp Chef 36 in. WiFi Woodwind Pellet Grill & Smoker with Sidekick (PG14) - WiFi & Bluetooth Connectivity
The BOB : Pleased
Love everything about it so far!
Greg Stuart : Three Weeks Old - Has Failed Three Times
We are still trying to figure out what's going on here but the grill has failed to light three times in the first three weeks. Not sure why but camp chef is sending us a bunch of information to troubleshoot. Just what I needed, another project to fix a product after spending $1,000 for a grill. More to come later.
C. B. : All I have to say is it is awesome
I had my eye on a pellet grill for a long time after Traeger came out with their first models. Now I am glad I waited. After researching and comparing prices the Camp Chef had more refined features then the competition. What really sold me was the ash clean out feature and the direct flame sear.
Shipping. When the truck pulled up and the door open l was surprised to see something that looked like it was ready to be air dropped form a C-141. 3 separate boxes came on a pallet and all bundled in black plastic.
Each box was packed well and it arrived in perfect condition.
Assembly was relatively easy. Make sure you take at least 3-4 hrs. out of your day to get it up and running. Setting up the Wi Fi took a little time but it works great.
Now for the learning curve. I have owned smokers before but a pellet grill is a different animal. I can see right off that it will take my BBQing to the next level.
My first attempt was chicken breasts and thighs with mesquite and they tuned out excellent.
All I have to say is it is awesome and I rarely use that term.
Update. 10/24/2020
Well I have to say it is Awesome. Smoked several meats and I am getting it dialed in. I have found if you are grilling for a long smoke don't let the hopper get below 1/4 full. The hopper will not feed well and you could get a flame out.
The PID is another feature is what sets this grill above others. To be able to set the smoke range was a brilliant idea. This is a game changer. I see that other manufactures are starting to copy features that Camp Chef has pioneered. Traeger has taken a back seat to this grill.
Update 11/01/20
Smoked a whole 15lb brisket and it turned out excellent. By this time I was ready with a little experience under my belt. It was an all nighter . I inserted 2 probes . One in the point and the other in the flat. I found that the thermometer probes are off by 5 degrees + which is not a big deal with most meats but not with a brisket. That's when a good instant read meat probe thermometer is a must. By the way I forgot to mention in another main factor why I bought this brand is it is made in the USA and the leading manufacturer of pellet grills is not.
I am in no way affiliated with any grill manufacturer . Just a back yard griller and glad that I purchased this "awesome" grill. I used up using that word for the year. :)
Update: Turkey Day
Bought a Camp Chef Cannon and it is , dare I say it. I cant because I used that word up for this year. ????
Doug Scott : An absolute $1700.00 piece of junk. Don’t waste your money on Camp Chef!
I am a very seasoned outdoor cook with almost 40 yrs. experience. I have 2 Weber Grills, propane and charcoal, and two stick burners, Ceramic one and a very lg. Side burner Smoker capable of smoking 6 briskets in one smoke. However, due to age and a minor disability I decided to move all my grilling to something easier, a pellet grill/smoker. After much research, and against suggestions from my grilling friends, I chose the 36” C.C. Woodwind, with every accessory. Delivered 6 months ago. Bad decision. Currently, I’m using my 3rd controller, have never had the grill create any smoke, and this weekend, the auger failed to work. That’s it! This $1700.00 piece of junk is going to the junk yard and I’m going to the Traeger Store. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CAMP CHEF GRILLS! Don’t waste your money!
James A Edenfield : Love my Camp Chef
I had not purchased a pellet smoker before. All of my grilling had been with a propane grill. The flavor of the smoked foods has been fantastic and the meats have been super tender. The camp chef is sturdy and I love the wifi connection to my phone so I can monitor the probe and grill temperatures.
Jeff Owens : Fantastic Smoker!
I am loving this smoker and the added sidekick accessory grill. One week of use every night and really happy about this purchase.
Christopher P. Georgeson : Disappointed.
My traeger died and was in the market for a new smoker. I did a lot of research and thought the camp chef woodwind would be a great fit.
I love the idea of direct heat with the slider mechanism.
The pellet clean chute at the bottom is brilliant for maintaining a clean burn.
The sidekick is just a genius idea.
I went all in and got the 36inch grill and a grill box side kick. I got it around fathers day and ordered it directly from camp chef.
Frankly I wish I ordered the more expensive Traeger.
Let's start with temperature control.
Low smoke (160f) and high smoke (180-225) works well. If you plan on only cooking pork shoulders you'll be fine.
You want to cook steak or burgers at higher temp... Prepare to wait a while.
So you want to get to somewhere around 400 degrees. Wait about 25 minutes your grill takes forever to climb. You burn through so many pellets getting to that temp.
Ok you think I'll just open the direct cooker and move the slider over. Yup that works but if you have a large family you only get that heat over the burner pot. So again you'll be waiting a while.
Oh and that burner pot... Look at the pictures and you'll notice that it's located towards the left chamber more then at the middle. Even with the heat diffuser you get hot spots only to the left of the grill while the right is noticeably cooler.
Thinojg about the side kick accessory. I would don't recommend it unless you want it for the griddle top. That seems to work but it's a small surface to cook much on but it is good. However I bought if for the grill box.
Wow... After a few uses and heavily seasoning the "cast iron" it's completely rusted out. This is a common complaint on this product. Also even after adjusting the propane feed to get clean fire the flare up on this unit to too much at times. Lots of poor design.
The pellets from campchef are good and so is the app. The app to adjust the temperature and check your temps recently got upgraded and performs much better now. At low smoke settings it's impressive to see the temp swings be so minimal.
I also love the grill racks. They smartly broke them up into 3 sections and you can clean them easily in your sink since they are small. Brilliant.
The metal construction ranges from passable to poor. The lid is the biggest offender as it's made of stainless steel. It doesn't hold heat as well as most smokers that use a thicker gauge steel. Also the stainless steel seemed like a way to be more style over substance. The lid turns brown within a month of use due to all the smoke. Why not just make it match the body of the smoker?
A lot of smokers in this price range also double insulate. Not this smoker though. Unfortunately you'll have to buy another accessory (insulation blanket) to keep the heat in.
Is this grill worth the money you pay for.... Nope. It Just isn't, I wish it was. I'm not getting rid of it though since I paid a pretty penny for it. I wish I just bought a Traeger or a different competitor. This will be the last campchef product I buy. I don't enjoy writing that and I hope that campchef makes better smokers in the future.
I rated this grill 3 stars because I can't rate it 2.5 stars since Amazon won't do .5 star increments.
If you only cook low and slow this smoker is good. Get used to one half the grill being much cooler then the other half and manage your expectations.
Good luck if you buy it.
StanMPD : Very unreliable yet expensive grill.
Most unreliable grill I have ever owned. Missing hardware to set it up which took 2 months to get from Camp Chef (bought my own), 6 temperature probes gone bad, another problem with the controller having too many ground wires hooked up and tonight the grill temperature reading went up to 645 degrees before shutting itself down. Dead in 3 months of about a dozen uses. By the way, it was cool enough to cover even though it thought it was 645 degrees. Another ruined meal.
Paul Keele : One of the best purchases I've ever made in my life!
I can't find anything I'm not in love with on the Woodwind 36. I owned a smaller older Camp Chef pellet grill and was always satisfied with it. But the new WiFi PID controller is a game changer. Being able to select different smoke levels adds an entirely different flavor profile that makes everything I've cooked taste 10 times better than before. The extra space on the 36 inch model is night and day. I always found myself wishing I had more space on my previous model and now I'm trying to think of ways to use all this extra space. The new hopper not only looks sleek, but grately improves the pellet movement to the auger. The Camp Chef app that connects to the new controller is easy to use, and I love being able to quickly monitor what's happening with the grill and what I'm cooking. Adding the side kick attachment makes it an all in one cooking machine. I've used the included flat top for stir fry, breakfast and even searing. The option to add a BBQ box and pizza oven if I want is a nice bonus. I've owned a lot of Camp Chef products over the years. I've always been completely satisfied with their products, but the Woodwind 36 is hands down the best product I've ever purchased from them.
