Answer: If you can I’ve never figured it out, I’ve just adapted to using Celsius. That aside it’s a great dehydrator that I use all the time. It does take up a lot of counter space but if you plan on using it frequently it’s well worth it.

I received the Jayetec 10 tray 8/21/20. I was ready and used it the same day. We started with sliced onions and there was very little odor as they dried. Yeah! We have also dehydrated well over a hundred tomatoes, peppers and egg plant. I was afraid the tomatoes would drip so on the bottom tray I placed the silicone mat that came with it. It didn't need it. I also bought non stick silicone mats from Gucuji with the small holes. USE the mats for tomatoes or anything juicy, or you can't get them off the stainless steal trays. I have used this everyday since I received it, there are tomatoes in it right now and it's 9/02/20. This is my first dehydrator with a fan and lots of trays, I love it. I'm still using the old ones for my herbs and spices. It's easy to clean and does have both Celsius and Fahrenheit however I find it easy to use the Celsius. There is a guide in the book. I also find it necessary to stop it halfway through the drying time to rotate the trays and move them around, but with this one it is quite easy. Then just push start to continue and you don't lose the time on the timer.

Overall, so far we like the unit (mostly) and are ready to actually start a first batch, so we will see how it goes.
A few things to note:
Our unit is in Celsius. Deal breaker? No. Because thankfully my husband and I are capable of doing a little math to translate our Fahrenheit to Celsius.
The manual that came with it told us how to dehydrate, but not how to actually SET the dehydrator. (you have to hold down the start button until the timer starts flashing, then you can set and go through each number kind of like an alarm clock.)
The minute we had it running to test it, it was pretty quiet. I will have no problem with it running in our house on a regular basis.
We almost lost the door handle, our fault for not looking more carefully when we opened it all up. it was wrapped in white, surrounded by white styrofoam.
All in all, I think we will like it. If it does what it's suppose to do, I will leave this review as is. If anything changes, I will update it.

Dear MR.J : Awful quality control, no drip tray

I bought this JAYETEC food dehydrator for my wife and we have it for 6 months. She barely uses it(4 times)!. It is a total mess to clean because the designer forgets to put a drip tray and most fruit will DRIP.! And you don't want to know how difficult it is to clean once the liquid is there. And you want to be careful with the way you clean it, it might just stop working after all. I've reached them 10 times and never really get back. Just a waste of money. What is good? you get ten useless trays.

Es un buen producto ya que funciona muy bien yo lo ocupo para repostería, seca a la perfección las galletas caben muchas y lo mejor es que pas bandejas son de acero inoxidable, le di 4 estrellas por que ya tuve otro deshidratador y hacía menos ruido y no tiene alarma para indicar que se acabo el tiempo, pero se apaga en automático al terminar el timer.

2020 : Broken thermostat

The size is good, which I really like, but the thermostat was broken and did not work properly to provide accurate temperature control. The product also smells like desktop computer, and after heating it for several hours at the highest temperature did not dissipate the smell. Had to return. I am giving 2 stars because the size is very big.

Do not buy!!! It’s a piece of crap. I got it April 24 and by may 3 couldn’t return it. Also this is a Dropship company out of China. There’s no company name on it because of that. The dehydrator was broke and we never got to use the dehydrator. There is no number to contact the manufacturer for help. So if it’s broke you can’t get ahold of anyone for repairs and ya just waisted it.

I love dried fruits. My friend used to have a dehydrator and made dried fruits for me. I decided to buy one here. It turns out higher expectation than I thought. It has 6 trays and they are all stainless steel, not plastic. I can also set the time and temperature, then just multitasking or go to bed. Dried fruits will be ready after I wake up. The most important thing is Quite! I turned it on for the whole night but did not bother me at all to sleep because it makes very low noise.

Works great read the instructions said it would take four to five hours for beef jerky it only took 3 hours I've never made beef jerky that fast temperature control and timer makes it convenient so you don't have to babysit it

I highly recommend this unit. I've used it so far for 2 sessions and I love it. I went to a Mexican market and got everything as the vegetables and fruits tend to be cheaper there. I've dehydrated bananas, cilantro, mango, jalapeño peppers so far and they're all had great results. I like spicy and the jalapeños have been really tasty. The jalapeños are generally fairly wide going in and come out kind of like french fry sized but great. The other nice thing about this dehydrator is that the fan is in the back and the trays are all flat and almost square, so you can lay stuff on them nicely and it can dry food much evenly compared with those fan on the top or bottom.
