I have been wanting to get a vacuum food sealer because I like to shop in bulk to save time and money but I have always used the so called hack where you put the food in a ziplock bag and under water and close it as tightly as you can but they don’t seem to work as much. First you need to make sure, the food you put it , as much as possible, less liquid or no liquid . 2nd make sure you don’t overfill the bag, follow the line as the maximum amount . 3rd lay it flat on the table - for the air vent so the machine can work. ( made a fee mistakes in the beginning and for a fee seconds, it will suck the air out. Pretty cool. I tried it with ground, beef, ground chicken and ground turkey . They all worked pretty darn good. It is nice that it comes with the reusable bags. So not a waste of bags to keep buying. I just wished they gave 3 of the smaller bags, it only came with 2. The food that I bought in bulk came in with 3 lbs.
