I have used my heat sealer about 5 times. When I went to use it today, the red heat light would not stay on. The connection between the cord and the sealer was not staying connected. It then started smoking so I shut it off altogether. I see that my window to return it is about 5 days off. I will not buy this brand again.

This stopped working after my 2nd time using it!

I got this to seal plastic bags and make my work look neat and tidy. This does not do that it has a four line sealer that comlpetely melts the bags if you let it heat up for 5 min. So it not recommended if you have more than one bag to seal. I would seal a bag and turn it off. Then turn it back to seal the another one. Made doing this bothersome and lengthy.

Don’t waste your money, this item looks to be well made until you get to the plug. It is very cheap. Seemed to work fine on first use, second time using it shorted out and quit working. Also very wide like a mini flat iron, kind of makes a mess of the bag. Lots of trimming.

It works really well however, having to pull it out and plug it in Everytime I need to reseal a bag. It was also easy to use. After it's heated up you don't have to leave it on the bag for very long just a quick squeeze. It kind of looks like a mini hair crimper. (Yes I did try it on my daughters hair) it was entertaining.

I am sadden to say the very first time I have use this item and only heat sealing 3 heat seal bags when I was done with it, I went to to go and put it in the lock position and it popped a loud bang and it was no longer a product that I could reused. Very disappointed in the product I actually after only one use I had to toss it in the garbage. This was a definite waste of money. I recommend that this product be recalled to the manufacture of this product. It is not safe to be around at all the heat that comes from it could potentially start a fire.
