This net went above and beyond my expectations! I have used it in the river of streams trout fishing, on a kayak saltwater fishing for sea trout and at the pond fly fishing for bass and bluegills. It has stood up to every situation. It has a rubber coating over the net so it protects fish slime. It is light and easily holds to my backpack. I also took a few tumbles in the river and it didn't break! So I am very impressed!

The net material is a rubbery type of material and has a flat bottom to keep the fish in the proper position making it easier to handle release the fish and also reduces the chances of the hook snagging on the net material.

I have been fishing for many, many years and I can honestly say l really love this small lightweight net. I have used it not for a couple weeks and have caught and landed several fish with it. I love how I can fold it quickly slide it under the seat of my Hobie Outback to get it out of the way. I would highly recommend this net!!

Well made, and a great value for the price! The feature that will attract many buyers, though, (the folding handle) I realized I would rather not have, and that's the only reason I returned it. The act of unfolding it, of course, requires two hands - and I just saw myself with a fish on a rod in one hand, trying to open the handle up with the other. Decided to go with a single piece ("one-handed") net, but this one will appeal to many. Good product.

Great product... my wife and I do a family fishing channel on YouTube (channel called Stanley Orchard) and we picked up on of these nets for use at the jetties in salt water. We are hard on our equipment, but this net beat all other nets we've used and at the same price point.
Things to note:
The net features a rubber mesh... this is fantastic because it does less harm to the fish and makes it much easier to get stuff out of the net. Fins, hooks and sea urchin bristles (yup, we really put it through the ringer) were much easier to remove.
The net itself is encased in the rim of the product, which is really awesome. This way the mesh doesnt rub against rocks when you drag it against them. This is a fantastic feature!
The mesh features a square bottom, which keeps it open and again allows to get fish out much easier.
The handle folds... i'm not fond of this feature. It lock is strong and i've had no issues with it, but it seems like a part the could break and only saves a couple inches in overall length.

I don't know that there's a better net for a lower price. Collapsible handle is great for storing in my backpack and the net itself is very deep. Rubber mesh seems strong and should last for a while. Just wish the handle was longer.

Pro: I love that the netting is rubber (perfect for small/ medium fish that are jumpy) and the holes aren't as big. Little trout that you catch will never fall through i can guarantee! The net is more wide than deep which is perfect for quick photo shots and getting the hooks out.
Con: i've attached this to my waders and sometimes it tends to get in the way. the strap is alittle long and I've stepped into it and on it a couple of times. If the unhinging system locked for the handle that would make things perfect!!

Use these in my koi pond when I need to get a closer look for health purposes. If you have huge koi it will be too small, but works well up to 12” fish. Good feel, shorter handle minimizes the drag under water, love the rubberized net.

I've only had this for a little while, but I'm just happy to have found a reasonably sturdy net for my kids to use pond-exploring and fishing. Normally the exposed netting looped over the metal circle is quickly worn through, here the net is not exposed in the opening of the net, but covered with plastic or silicone. Hopefully it will hold up to all the mud-scooping that takes place!

I gave it 3 stars because I’ve only used it twice fly fishing. After a few outings I’ll review again regarding durability. Just too early yet. Otherwise it’s a really well put together net. I do like how the handle folds up and it’s very light weight.
