Answer: I don’t think it is designed to. But if you have something to attach it with, it will because it is very light and has a small lanyard loop meant for your wrist you can probably use to attach it to the vest.

Decided to go with a single piece ("one-handed") net, but this one will appeal to many. Good product.

I got the chance to use the net on a snapper fishing trip last week. What I like about the net is that the handle folds, making it low profile and easy to carry. I was able to land fish and not get my hooks stuck in the net which is a big plus in my book. The mesh of the net has a rubber coating on it so it doesn't tangle with hooks or harm any fish you want to release. It's light weight and very strong, making it ideal for wade fishing. For the price you can't beat it.

However I see this being less of an issue if you are using this on a kayak or boat or simply in a circumstance where clipping the net to something is unneeded

I have examined this very reasonably priced net critically and closely. I believe that it will last very well. The hoop that holds the net is smooth extruded black anodized aluminum. This aluminum hoop mounts into a heavy plastic block that I believe will be very durable when I look at the heft of the plastic. The net is tough feeling fiber of some type that feels very sturdy. The netting is rubberized and appears to be very tough and yet it should be easy on the fish so they can be safely released without harm. I am impressed by the small hole size in the netting. I measured the oval shaped holes at approximately 1/4" X 3'16". This should let me use this for netting minnows as well as landing larger fish. The netting is held in place in the hoop very securely and all edges are hidden and protected within the aluminum hoop. The stitching is well done and well finished. It appears to have great lasting strength. The 8" folding handle folds very nicely and securely it is easy to unfold using just one hand. It should be very easy to store out of the way on my fishing boat.

I do wish there was some type of belt clip on the net frame for stream fishing but I am sure it will be easy to rig this little beauty with a lanyard and clip to take care of that. I will be shocked if I don't get years of enjoyment from this net. I will add to this review if it disappoints in any way but I do not see that happening. I am ordering another of these right away. This net went above and beyond my expectations! I have used it in the river of streams trout fishing, on a kayak saltwater fishing for sea trout and at the pond fly fishing for bass and bluegills. It has stood up to every situation. It has a rubber coating over the net so it protects fish slime. It is light and easily holds to my backpack. I also took a few tumbles in the river and it didn't break! So I am very impressed!

I had high hopes for this net. The seam around the bottom of the net snagged with the hook on the first trout caught. I had to cut the net to remove the trout. Don't buy this net for catching and releasing trout or any fish. It may be rubber but hooks easily snag and seat into it.
