Can you seal chip bags made of picture paper...

Answer: You cannot seal anything with this it’s a complete waste of money! Try a different sealer but this one is A complete waste!

Answer: Yes, this would heat seal bubblewrap, but you would have to practice with hit since it get very hot and may melt it too quickly.

Answer: I'm sure you could, however this get's VERY hot quick, too much heat may melt plastic onto it, so try doing it as it's warming. BTW, I absolutely LOVE mine! Good luck

Answer: It won't crimp without heat.

Answer: I've never tried to use a flat iron to melt anything but I definitely wouldn't put this intense of heat to my hair

Answer: It can be tricky. For thin sandwich bags you would have to experiment as it will burn through. On the thicker Ziploc type it would work better.

Answer: you have to plug it in every time you use it or it won't work. I would let it heat up 3-5 min for it to be plenty hot to seal things properly.

Answer: There’s no limit as long as the heat sealer is plugged into the wall; the heat will continue to generate.

Was super stoked to receive this as we have quite a few bags the we use clips on always lost freshness.

I got it, and tested it on a few bags: Lays chips, fritos, bag of rice and bag of bagel chips. It worked well for the bag of rice and bagel chip bag but had trouble with those bags that have silver inner lining.

The wife got one later that day and the damn thing wouldn't work. We even left it on for 15 minutes and it never got hot. I was even stupid enough to touch the hot plates but they weren't even hot. Not even warm. Our sidewalk was probably hotter than the hot plates

And that was that. Used once and it crapped out. I was still within the 30 day return period and even though it was defective, I wasn't able to create a return for some weird reason. I would've loved to return it and just get one that worked.

Fortunately Amazon Customer service gave me a refund since only had this thing for less than 20 days and it only worked once.

Just save your time and money and look for a different brand.

This product was excellent when I first got it. After several uses it is gotten so hot you can’t touch the outside or hold it to crimp the bag going to try to return it.

Best idea I ever had.
I had my shampoo (6 little one use packages), conditioner, toothpaste, lotion and pain relief cream in my quart bag plus extra room for my perfume and other stuff.

Finally. I’ve been needing this in my life for making custom sized bags without burning out my food sealing machine. I like it. It could be longer, but for the price it works exactly like it supposed to.

This is great on plastic bags that aren't too thin.seemed to not work on this protien bar wrapper though. It looked like it worked. I left it on there a bit then let it cool. When I cut it in the middle of the seal it just came right apart . I'll try it on some more bags. So if you're doing plastic and it's a little thick it's great. Thinner plastic just melts super easy. I just heat it n unplug it n cool it a sec before I do the thinner plastic sealing and it works well.

It does what it claims, let it warm up for at least 5 minutes before using. The plastic storagecase is a neat little feature. It's pretty much a curling iron with ridged plates.
