I bought the 3 ft. model and it's great. The material is sturdy and it casts well. Highly recommended. I still have my Betts 6 ft. model but it's way to heavy for my throwing abilities, whereas the 3 ft. model can repeatedly be loaded quickly and thrown a long distance. Unless you are in the bait business, there is no reason to go larger than 3 ft.

Seems well made, for the first one I've had a hold of. Casts easy enough, water is too cold for any shallow fish. Will get used come spring.

Crazy easy to use, mostly because it’s only 3’ in diameter. I use it to catch bait on my boat dock. The 3’ size is perfect for tossing in the boat slips.
