I use it while night fishing, it's bright enough to get shrimps and squids attention and that brings the bigger fish in. I now have 2, on both sides of the boat. Not expensive and gets great results

This product works as describe for illuminated fishing. The light is great for attracting fish to lures. It is bright and consistently produces a nice light effect. This product is well made and thus far has not shown any signs of failure to due water leakage. We are finding our catch seems to have improved since adding this to our fishing routine.

What a difference this light made on my trip. . . I parked my chair on the dock. . . Lowered the light to about 12 foot right before dark. ... and an hour later I had a cooler full of crappie, bass and rainbows and was limited out. . . Any other time, without the light, it was hit and miss. . . It was pain dragging the battery along but well worth it. . .

We where able to use it this past weekend, you have to wait what felt like 20 minutes (I ut im not sure) then the kids (teenagers) started to see marine life swiming around it. It reminded me the bugs being attracted by the outside light in my back yard. Is a nice gadget to have.

Bought this to replace another brand. This is in a brackish water canal and is doing great. This is a better design than the one I replaced, and is weighted too. Bright and attracts lots of fish at our dock. May add a third light and will buy from this seller if we do.

It took us a little while to get the right battery (12V) but once we rigged it up and went out night fishing, it was amazing how many more fish we not only saw, but caught! We used it in a bay and I told my husband I want to take it home and use it in our pond to see if we can catch more of the bass, too. When we were in the bay, it attracted all kinds of fish, including redfish and trout. We caught enough keepers in one evening to make several meals. I was really impressed.
It seems really well made, and the light is a lot brighter than you might expect. That's good because the water in our bay can get kind of murky (as is the water in our pond). I was fascinated to see all the fish swimming around, attracted by the light. I kind of thought this was a gimmick, but it really did seem to attract a lot of fish. Even if we hadn't been fishing, it was fascinating to see the fish swim around it, trying to figure the light out.
Because we used it in salt water, when we came in for the night, we were careful about rinsing off the salt water, as salt can be so corrosive. This may have been unnecessary because it is really well made, but I think it will last longer if we take good care of it and keep it clean, especially of salt.
