You are going to love this one. All you need to do is hook it up to a battery and toss it in. I used a 12v battery we had in the garage and it worked perfectly. Fish are attracted to light in the dark naturally, especially green light so if there are any fish nearby they will come. We caught some pretty big ones the night we used it and I think this product is directly responsible for that. I give it 4 stars and a "Glowing" Recommendation.

It does work - it is very bright and since it gets so hot you really, really shouldn't run it when it isn't in water.
I can't really say that it helped us catch anything, but at least we had a little light from below. Was eerie. Kind of cool looking.

Great addition to any fisherman’s arsenal, my husband and father-in-law take weekend fishing trips where they fish all day (I’ll never quite understand this hobby) they both give this light 5 stars. Need a battery to power this on but we didn't catch anymore fish using this than we did using a regular Lure so not entirely sure if it does the job, however it sure is fun to carry around when fishing.

I got this for my husband to use bow fishing from his boat. He said it worked great. He tried to get a good picture but they wore them working out in the pitch dark of night. The light sinks down a ways and is very bright. He has the light hooked to the batter that he runs his other boat lights on. He said it is very bright and has worked exactly how he expected. He has since gotten 2 more of these lights to use on his boat.

Have been using this light with a 12v ATV battery while night fishing at a lake down the road from my house. I never realized how much this could actually help with attracting the fish-but it definitely does. Not only that, but it has the added benefit of being able to see some of what is going on underwater-which is a very neat feature.
Used this for a few hours the other night and it never dimmed or had any water entry issues, so it seems like I will get several trips on that one battery before it dies. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have a voltmeter installed on the battery end of the cable, so I may wire one up.
If you enjoy night fishing, this product is well worth it. It adds a whole new dimension to the sport. Love it!
