Answer: 1/8 weighs less then 3/8's the lures are roughly the same size. I would recommend the 1/8 for short accurate casts in calm waters. The 3/8 for longer casts courser waters and a more active presentation of the lure.

Answer: 1/8oz is not micro for Ultra-light .. but is small for be a chatterbait .

First cast at a local pond I hooked a bass haha. Z-man makes some great products. A chatterbait is a go-to with large mouth bass. These work well when tied directly to the line. Not so much if you plan to use a swivel. I tried, but it will not "chatter" with a snap swivel attached. Not a big deal ,just a FYI to all of you fisherman. I dont think it will last because some of the skirt is already falling off from catches, which is a good problem to have! Pick yourself up one or two and enjoy. I have the best luck with black and blue, in case you were wondering :o)
