ABOUT US AT REAL FISH BAIT

During a bass tournament in the spring of 2008, I tied on my brand-new swimbait, cast it, lines snaps, & watched my expensive swimbait fly across the lake. That feeling of losing that lure was very heartbreaking.

Then it happened again the very next cast! I lost that one too. I was very frustrated & thought to myself: 'This is getting expensive losing these pricey baits!' If only these baits are more affordable, then losing them won't be such a big deal. Then it hit me! I can design a better lure at a lower cost & pass those savings to other anglers too.

In August 2008, I began the journey & started Real Fish Bait. I've always dabbled with designing baits, but didn't know how to get it into production. It took me a year of researching to learn how to go from a drawing on paper to an actual prototype on hand. In late 2009, I received my first prototype & grew the product line since.

Fast-forward 13 years later, we now have over 200 style & color pattern combinations to choose from.

Where do you ship from?

Answer: Sorry, to clarify, it is a 3 pack (3-10" sanddabs)

What size hooks and lead do you use with a real fish 10" sanddab lingcod jigs lure bait sand dab halibut rock cod grouper jigging

Answer: You can use up to 5/0 jig hook with a 16oz or heavier weight, depending on the tide. You can also add a stinger treble hook at the end by the tail. Hope that helps!

What is the best size to use for big Halibut? 4", 6", or 10"? Also how may are in a 10" pack? 1? 2?

Answer: For halibut 50 lbs and under, the 6" or 10" will work. For larger halibut 80+ lbs definitely 10" size. Comes in 1/pk. We also do offer 3/pk and 4/pk option too. Hope that helps! Tip: if fish rips tail off, just add a large Kalin grub on your hook and it will still catch halibut / lingcod.

Answer: I caught a 45 pounder on the 10” but we also caught a 25 pounder on the 4”. So I guess it depends on whats in their face and if they’re hungry. There is one for $14ish for the 10” but you will need to go into the search to pick 1,2 or 4 and which colors.
