What material is the net constructed of?

Answer: I believe it's a nylon net but it's rubberized.

Why does the net portion look different than the bearclaw night mode on Frabills website?

Answer: Not sure in differences but I love this Net for kayak fishing.

Does it float?

Answer: No

Where is the light? There is a yellow triangle shaped piece where the light portion is pictured and I don’t see any additional accessories for light.

Answer: There are three LEDs facing into the net on a black triangular piece where the aluminum frame joins the handle. That's the light. If you don't have those three LEDs there, then you might have the version of this net without a light. That version is usually a little less expensive.

Answer: The light is on the base of the net. Pictured is a yellow portion at the base where the net meets that handle. That is where the light is located. This is an awesome net. I got it for inshore kayak fishing in Florida and it works like a dream.

Paul : Great snag resistance!

This is a great net. I bought the bear claw style net because I do a lot of kayak fishing and I figured it would be easier to hold on to while grabbing tools with the other hand. I don't think I'll be using the light on it often because I don't do a lot of night time fishing but it is very bright and has 3 settings for those of you that will use it. I also like that the net itself is coated to help prevent your hooks and the fishes gills from snagging on it. I catch a lot of northern pike and they like to thrash around a lot. It was a pain to get fish unhooked with my old net. This one is hassle-free.
