Do the worms float ?

The worms i received don't have a split tail as in the description when they purchase them why is that

Gary Y Kut Tail Worms are the finest for many presentations but this style is right up there for a similar action for far less. I use them attached to a 1/16 ball head jig with #1/0 hook and caught bass and large crappie with them using a jerk & pause retrieve.

The online photo showed a bright red color which is what I wanted. The actual baits (morning dawn) are pink in color. Not worth the hassle to return product but expected more from a product made in the USA.
