Answer: Have only painted one so far but the action seems to be just fine. Not sure how durable they are time will tell.

I see these in local big box and sporting goods stores for $15.00-17.00 apiece. They are painted with hooks already attached. By buying these I can buy my own hooks and split rings for less than a third of what it would cost to buy five finished lures.

These Whopper Ploppers have a nice body design and added weight compared to the slick pencil design. The prop in the back moves freely and has no issues spinning (sometimes you must bend the wire to ensure it is straight). All in all, this was a good purchase. The tail is soft and bendable just like a normal Whopper Plopper.
