Just a nice little set of go to long casting bait fishing lures likely will catch a number of different species of the years!

Only used the gold spoon with some garlic gel and caught 3 nice sized trout just casting at retrieving from my kayak. I attempted trolling and got a fish on my line but I lost it. This set will be my "go-to" for any future trips to the lake. I recommend letting the lure drop for a few seconds and jig it every so often with a slow retrieve.

I liked the look feel of the lure. They are more suited to inshore fishing or striper / hybrid bass fishing. I tried them in saltwater with a couple of bigger fish > 20 lbs. The hooks just bent and fish got off. I would say adequate if you target 5 - 7 lbs, but probably for not bigger.

"Kast Away" should not be confused with "Kastmaster". These are okay once you put some better quality hooks on them. The finish doesn't appear as well done as my "Kastmaster" lures. The fish don't seem to care though, I'll have to see how they hold up.

I love kastmasters but these suck. Kinda. I havent taken them out fishing yet but you can tell the shaping is a bit crude compared to actual kastmasters. Dont know if it will affect how they swim, but it certainly does not scream quality.
Also, the chrome with blue stripe? The blue is SO much darker than it appears in the picture, like we're talking navy blue compared to orphan blue.
If you want some really cheap kastmasters in case you lose them, these would be them. But i cant speak to how well they really work so take them with a grain of salt

Okay, first things first - the missing specifications. The 1/8oz spoon, minus hook & split rings, is about 1 1/8" long, while the 1/4oz spoon is about 1/2" longer at 1 7/8" long. With hooks & split rings, the 1/8oz spoon is roughly 1 7/8" long and the 1/4oz spoon roughly 2 3/8" long. Both spoons are a good size for trout, panfish, and similar.

Quality and workmanship seem top notch. No visible defects or imperfections. The hooks and split rings are good, with the spoon surfaces buffed to an almost mirror-like shine. Nevertheless, I replaced the front split rings with ball bearing snap swivels (probably not necessary, but my preference) to allow maximum movement in the water.

Overall, at this price for the set, they're certainly a worthwhile addition to my tackle box. Kastmaster fans seem threatened by that. Regardless, if I can keep them off the bottom, untangled, they should last me a while and help me catch some more fish.
