Answer: Float,diver depth about 6 1/2 ft. These are pretty great big size lures!!! Mine seem to be sealed pretty good no water getting inside.

What and where( freshwater or saltwater) do you like to fish for with this ?

Answer: I’ve used it wading in the surf as well as on a jetty. It has caught some fish.

Would this be good for surf fishing with a spinner rod set up?

Answer: Best as a saltwater trolling bait. Spanish, Blues and Kings. Different colors on different days.

Answer: Honestly No. These lures are for trolling tuna, mahi mahi or wahoo.

How good is this for in saltwater and freshwater??

Answer: This is a saltwater lure. You can try it in freshwater but it is a squid imitation. They run well just haven’t used them much as I have been trying out a lot of new stuff.

Answer: I use only in saltwater. What I can tell you is I've tried two batches and water gets inside the body. Initially they swim well but within a few minutes they start taking in water and stop swimming well.

what is the material for the hooks does not look like stainless?

Answer: I live in Hawaii the hooks are built good don’t think their stainless and the lure is effective. Problem is the lure get water inside so the rattle doesn’t work

Answer: No. They are poor galvaneized steel. I recomend change the originals for other stainless.

Answer: I would say 10 to 15 but mine filled with water i say they are crap

Answer: Good for striped bass. Large in size good for trolling

My husband had his tackle box and fishing stuff stolen so I got these for him for a present to help him start a new collection. They are nice sized lures and bright colors. They are made well I must admit I was shocked at the size as they are much larger than I expected and I really like them.

These are pretty big size lures. Read one reviewer that these were taking in water so that is first thing I wanted to check make sure mine didn't have that issue. Mine seem to be sealed pretty good no water getting inside.
Took out to the pier to test in real water and it looks pretty realistic the way it bop up and down with the correct sinker.
The hooks are very sharp thank goodness for the rubber sleeve over the hook. But still poke myself few times and let out some blood. Hoped it can lure some leopard shark.
Today's waves was huge so no one was catching anything and only thing that might go for these big lures are sharks and maybe sea bass around Venice pier.

it is what it is : Sharp, bright and vibrant a good success rate

These are great quality and very well made lures the colors are bright and vibrant the tails have great movement and attract attention. These are not small fresh water lures these are larger salt water lures they attract game fish and have the hardware to keep them on the line the hooks are appropriate for the size and the hooks are very sharp. The success rate of these are as good or better than much more expensive lures we have used I'm satisfied with how these perform and their durability. Overall I consider this a great value.
