Answer: Manual hold button and it fit work for sheep and goats.

Answer: We use this scale to weigh our sheep in a cattle sling. It works great. The manual hold button keeps the weight at the weigh-in maximum so that it doesn't disappear or fluctuate as the animal moves. A very nice scale.

Can this scale be used for weighing deer?

Answer: Absolutely. This is the main reason I bought it. Used it on 7 deer this year and double checked with the scale at the LGS and it's dead on. Weighed my 122 lb doe and my 194 lb buck just fine!

Answer: Yes. I assume it will. I use it to weigh big flathead cats. Around 70lbs has been my largest, but the scale handled it easily. I have a friend who has used it to weigh his whitetail deer, most of them over 100lbs. Hope this helps.

Bought this to measure resistance band tension for powerlifting, and for hunting/ fishing. It feels cheaply made by Its taken a few hard falls into concrete on the basement and it's still accurate and holding up great.
