How we got our start?

Harmony Fishing is a family business operating in New Jersey since 2010. We developed the popular “Wacky Rings” for wacky rigging soft stickbaits as our first entry into the fishing market. Since then, we’ve used our manufacturing experience to develop a wide line of fishing products.

Bait Straps were developed as a solution to soft plastic baits that too often slide down the hook shank or tear prematurely after pulling through heavy cover or catching 1-2 fish. Taking 2-3 seconds to install a Bait Strap on your soft plastic allows it to last up to 10x longer without sliding down the hook shank or tearing. Whether you're fishing a Carolina rigged fluke on an EWG hook, weightless senko worm on an offset hook, or a weighted Texas rigged craw/creature bait on a straight flipping hook, Bait Straps will keep your soft plastic bait securely in place on your hook and prevent tearing.

Here at Harmony Fishing, we know the cost of soft plastics start to add up when they're tearing after every bite, and we've experienced first hand the annoyance of constantly fixing your bait on your hook to maintain a proper presentation. There is no additional equipment needed to start using Bait Straps on your soft plastics to extend their usable life and keep them in place on your hook all day long. Whether you're fishing with a straight, flipping, offset, or EWG hook; with or without a weight; and with any type of line - Bait Straps have you covered!

Bait Straps are quick and simple to rig


Step 1 Insert your line through the large hole in the Bait Strap. Then tie your favorite knot to the hook eye.	Step 2 Begin to Texas Rig your soft plastic bait by threading about 1/4" of the bait onto the hook and sliding it up the hook shank to the hook eye.	Step 3 Pull some slack in the line and insert the hook point into one of the small holes on the Bait Strap. Then slide the Bait Strap up the shank of the hook until it is snug against the soft plastic.	Step 4 Pull the line tight and finish Texas Rigging the soft plastic bait by hooking through the belly of the bait and out the top of the back. Press the hook point slightly into the "skin" of the bait to prevent snags.

Bait Straps feature a large hole on one end for your line to pass through. The other end features three smaller holes to attach to your hook. You can choose the hole that matches the length/size of the hook you are using. By utilizing this dual-attachment-point design to your hook and line-tie, Bait Straps are able to keep your Texas Rigged soft plastic bait securely in place at the top of your hook shank. Baits no longer slide down the hook, even through hundreds of casts, sudden jerks through brush/weeds/cover, and vicious strikes from hungry bass and other predator fish.
