Questions about BASSDASH SwimPanfish Multi Jointed Panfish Bluegill Swimbaits Hard Topwater Bass Lures Fishing Lure Crank Saltwater 3.5in/0.85oz
Q:
does it come with a box?
Answer: Each bait is packed in a hard PVC blister and then the 4 pack is in a bubble envelope.
Answer: No
Q:
WilI the joints tear apart easily?
Answer: Probably not, the Bait sections are jointed by thick cloth.
Q:
How do I use an Amazon gift card
Answer: Sure
Q:
Can i cast with a bait caster or is it to light
Answer: Yes, this bait can be casted with a bait caster and the bait is 0.85oz and it won't be too light for most bait casters.
Answer: No, these baits are fairly heavy, i use them on a medium 6'6" casting rod
Answer: Yes, I've had good lucky with it, it's heavier than you think. Its almost the perfect weight to cast.
Q:
Are colors as described? They look pretty good in the photos.
Answer: I just bought Bluegill color and it is exactly as described.
Answer: Yes, the colors are as in the photos.
Answer: It is as shown in photo!!!
Answer: Yes they look great
Answer: Yes, colors are exactly as pictured.
Q:
how many in a pack
Answer: ONE but if you order from Sunrise Angler you get 2 slightly different color and are 4" long for $15.00. I bought 4 total from 3 different sellers. To be very honest - haven't caught a fish yet. Been fishing in private farm pond that I know holds 2 - 8 lb+ and several 2-4 - NOTHING YET.
Answer: 1
Q:
Does this have lead in it? And if it does can someone point me to one that doesn’t
Q:
Will the back hook tangle when fishing?
Answer: I fished with it twice and the hook doesn't tangle. You can fish it in the way you fish a crankbait and reel slowly and the lure will swim well and even have realistic action.
Answer: Havn't had any problem like the action of it
Q:
Is it good for catching average bass?
Answer: I think so. I always use 3 - 6 inch swimbait and they are easily castable on normal bass tackle and they draw strikes from both numbers as well as big fish. By the way 8 to 10 inch swimbaits are usually for trophy bass.
Q:
Does anybody get strikes with this bait?
Answer: I landed 3 bass in my first 5 casts.,ranging 2.2 to 6.1 lbs out of the San Marcos river. I cast it and let it sit a bit. I twitched the rod a few times, then began an up and Don retrieval on all 3 bass, they struck on the lures upward retrieval.
Answer: I've caught a few with it in the private lake near my house where small and large mouth bass are not too many. It has a nice change in action as compared to some of my soft plastic swimbait.
Q:
The color is excellent,Does it act like a fish and does it work well?
Answer: Yes it does
Q:
I took mine out last weekend and could not get it to swim like they show. it just went in a line. what am i doing wrong?
Answer: I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you've met. I suggest you to try loop knot on the swimbait, or remove the O ring in front of the swimbait, and try again and the swimbait action will be good. I bet you will like it. Some anglers do not get used to the front O ring. ^^

Answer: try twitching the bait off the start. once it starts swimming it will have a great presentation.
Answer: First make sure there are is nothing wrong with your bait and make sure you’re jerking it when you use it
Answer: Nothing. The bait sucks you have to reel as fast as you can to make any action.
Q:
Can you catch snakeheads with these?
Answer: I don't see why not
Q:
how much weight does it have is it easy to cast.
Answer: The lure weight is 27/32 oz (24 grams) . Yes, they are easy to cast while it is possible to cast these lures with a swimbait rod but they are better suited for a traditional casting or spinning rod with a decent, but not too heavy, action.
Q:
I have 10lb. Line on my reel will this be strong enough fishing with this lure for bass?
Answer: I think you would be ok but i would find some heavier line i would use around a 15-30lb line
Q:
Does it act like a fish?
Answer: Absolutely, the joints move perfectly and look like another fish swimming.
Q:
Does it suspend?
Answer: Mine floats and when retrived it seem to go 2-3 feet deep is all. Not impressed with lure and I bought all 4 types. !!
Answer: Not that I'm aware of, you just need to find that right speed to have th full affect work. The right speed is key to making it look like a real fish.
Answer: The one I have does not , it sinks pretty fast , i have to have a steady crank to keep it off the bottom
Answer: If u mean by wiggles back and forth like how a fish swims yes it’s does
Answer: They sink.
Q:
What's the quoted price for 50 Bluegill ?
Answer: Only1
Q:
What’s the diving depth for these lures or will they sink after the cast? Float like a crank bait or sink ?
Answer: Hi, the diving depth is approx. 1ft~3ft, and yes, the bait will sink slowly.
Answer: It sinks like a rock and has no action unless you reel it as fast as you can .... junk don't waste your money.
Q:
Will these sink?
Answer: Yes, these swimbaits will sink slowly.
Answer: Yes, they are a swim bait. That's what they do and they do it well

is this lead free?
Product reviews of BASSDASH SwimPanfish Multi Jointed Panfish Bluegill Swimbaits Hard Topwater Bass Lures Fishing Lure Crank Saltwater 3.5in/0.85oz
Brent P. : Works for Snook too!
Got me a snook last night first time using this lure. I'd say it works great!
Choff : Pretty good.
Well constructed. But not as much swim action as the shad shaped swimmers. So you need to work them a little different.
RB Reams : Good fresh water lure
Excellent lure
John Ward : Great lure
Great action..great swimbait I recommend..
William Henry : China junk.
Severely disappointed with the product. It pulls drastically to the right.
Pablo : Mmm don't know...
Well...is a good made lure, pretty strong and seems durable but... 1. Is super heavy, good for long casting. 2. This is a really fast cranking lure,it won't swim right if u don't retrieve FAST,like really FAST! 3. It will not float, will be at the bottom in 3 sec 4. Design and paint ok,but it does fall short 5. Way to expensive taking in consideration this aspects, regular plastics lures will give u more realism than this one at lower speeds 6. I will not buy it again 7. I will not recommend this to a friend 8. Take this advise from a stranger on internet, the opinion you should follow is your own. It may work for different conditions or areas, but it didn't for my fishing style and the area where a fish,i have got many 10lb,12lb and 1 14lb large mouth bass on plastic lures and 12"inc worms... Whit this lure was noting but small ones, like 1lb or less.
James A Horsfall : Great little lure.
Great swim action, very responsive. Easy to manipulate it to look like a wounded fish. Caught a LMB on the first cast.
R. Perez : Irresistible to bass
A great value, durable, and irresistible to fish. If you want to catch some good size bass. I suggest you grab up a few with different colors and see for yourself.
Daniel Plaza : Great lure at a great price!
This jointed panfish lure was everything I expected and more. It has a very life like swimming motion that is irresistible to those aggressive bass. I definitely got my money's worth on my 1st trip using this lure in the Bluegill pattern. I 100% recommend this lure to all my friends and family. Thank you Bassdash for another great product!
Brock Roberts : Lifelike
Lifelike
Reconron : Quality craftsmanship great value
I don’t like wasting my money this particular product gets five stars due to the quality Craftsmanship these particular lures are a steal for the value ,and yes you do get quality fish right away unless you’re fishing in the empty lake or river ????????????????

CLK : Don't buy.
Spin the extra couple dollars and get a brand name whenever you set this thing in the water and you go to real it it's nose oz jumps straight up it is nothing close to a natural swimming fish and the joints also do not rotate back-and-forth in the water as they should on a swim bait like this
Bulldozer : Have not used them yet but
I have not used them as of yet but they look excellent and they seem to be well built. I will update this review once I use them but they look pretty darn good in my tackle box.
Bill from Denver, PA : Great Lure
I was very impressed with this lures swimming action. Hooks were very sharp. My only compliant is on about 25% of my casts, the back hook would get hooked around the back of the lure. Outside of that it's a great lure. Sadly I lost it before I caught a fish on it. But as good as it looks in the water I'm sure it will. I will buy more when I get the money for them.
Pat Rooney : Junk
This thing looks great but I have yet to catch anything with it. Probably close to 500 casts and nothing. Those same 500 casts in my lake with a rubber worm would have easily had 60-70 hits.
Sergei Gavrish : ????
????
David Millan : Works!
Already caught two bass with it. 12” and a 20” bass! Well worth it. Will buy more
Blane Hensel : Very lifelike "matches the hatch"
I like the lifelike feel and its very detailed
Kevin : Actually works
I’m always skeptical when buying fishing lures. Every company claims there products are the best. These fish were caught in Clear Lake in Northern California in the summer time. The lake is covered in thick weeds and is difficult to fish this time of year.
I found a spot with less weeds and tossed this lure in. Second cast….. caught a great size bass. A few minutes later, I caught another one! I had tried about 6 or 7 different setups that morning. This was the only one that caught bass.
Robert Simsic : Swim action
The swim action on these are amazing! Just takes a second to find the perfect rhythm.
Bailey Clevenger : Christmas gift, looks awesome
Bought this as a gift for my father in law it looks amazing and very durable. It's a good sized lure. Not sure on how well it works but either way hell love it lol
Big-D : Super realistic
Very realistic looking lure , the details are crazy on point , the segments work decent and the lure seems to do well
Mario Perez : Fish On
The lure does catch fish, does look real. But the back hook, keeps getting hook on the lure or the other hook
william m. : well made
they work great
Anonymous12 : Very impressive lure
I was skeptical as I am not used to trusting lutes over live bait. I never got on pike so well before I started using this lure. It honestly looks like a bait fish swimming through the water with the benefit of me getting to control it's speed and depth. Highly recommend.

Mike A2Z : Hooked a 30" Northern Pike
This was a gift to my 11 year old grandson. While fishing, he hooked a 30 inch northern pike. Unfortunately the fish tore the line. So, now I need to order hem another plug.
Big Jr : Nice lure
A little heavy but nice lure
P. J. Schwartz : Great injured Bluegill imitation
Use it as a slow jerk bait for best results, interspersed with short slow retrieves. Jerk....jerk....jerk....short slo retrieve....jerk and so on.
Pablo : Mmm don't know...

Amazon Customer : Just as described
My grandson can't wait to use it. He loves it.
CGBF : No Idea?
Looks great, not crazy about the action and expensive. Would hate to loose it.
Holly Perry : Must have for days that they aren't biting
This is a good bait set. They have very realistic movement. I love using this type of lure when I am not catching anything. I casted about 4 times before catching my the first bass.
Kindle Customer : Don’t believe the video!
Tried and they failed. Sunk to fast, no action whatsoever! Very disappointed.
Robert Kerr : Good action
Don't know how well it will work. Got it late when shallow running baits don't work
Big Jr : Nice lure
A little heavy but nice lure
Mario Perez : Fish On

Tracy Provinzano : Cool lure
Awesome lure cant wait to use it !!
Robert Simsic : Swim action
The swim action on these are amazing! Just takes a second to find the perfect rhythm.
Joe : Fun, cheap swim-bait.
I wanted to try a lure like this for a long time and i was not about to spend crazy money on a lure i had no idea how to use or how it performs. In terms of value, this is worth it. These swim baits have great action and look like a real swimming fish when the are reeled in. I can not speak for the durability just yet, but i am curious to see how the joints hold up. So far so good.
Big-D : Super realistic
Very realistic looking lure , the details are crazy on point , the segments work decent and the lure seems to do well
Loopz : Sinks not float unless reeling in fast
SINKS !! Doesn’t float unless ur reeling in super fast with no action it will SINK NOT FLOAT . But not to say it’s a bad bait I love it I just thought it would float .
Willy : Works like it should.
This thing swimming like a real fish. Cought 3 right away on this bait
Choff : Pretty good.
