The picture only shows 2 treble hooks, An 11 is supposed to have 3. Anyone agree?

Answer: The F11 does have three treble hooks. This picture looks like the CD 11 - they only have two treble hooks

Answer: The picture is not the actual lure if you want an F11 it will be 4 3/8" inches long and have 3 treble hooks on it just pick the color you want.

I went to the post office today to pick up a different package and they told me that I had another package (this) so I picked it up too and headed out to the lake. After an hour, I caught 2 bass and a crappie, all of decent size. Took them home and they were the best fish I've ever eaten. The only problem is when the fish decide to try to eat as much of the "fish" as possible, getting all 3 of the hooks down their throats. It's hell trying to get them off, but other than that, it's a nice lure.

EDIT: The second time I took this fishing, I got a snag and lost it. Oh well, guess I should be more careful next time. I'll probably buy a new one, but not at the moment as I'm content using worms.

I'm an avid Rapala fan, save the fact that at some point the company has changed their product for the worse. The bills fall off, sometimes after 10 casts. In this case Rapala made it 10 or so casts before the lip broke. Rapala has cheapened their product considerably and no longer stands by their warranty. This broke.

There is nothing for getting your heart started on a lazy morning like keeper hitting a surface bait. Some times they just suck it under, but sometimes they just explode out of the water. If they are biting this wounded minnow will draw them out of their lair. They hit it because they are mad.

Arrived on time and correct size as well as 3 treble hooks unlike the picture which has 2. I've always love the classic rapala rogues and have caught bigger fish on them and more fish than any lure in my tackle box. Even Bass pro did not have these colors and every fisherman knows that colors can mean the difference in a good day and bad day. Thank u rapala for coming through yet again. I know I will catch some big bass with these!

I have tried many other colors and sizes at the same pond and this is the only rapala that I consistently get bites on. You have to be very careful about the line you use it with in order to avoid creating any ripples.

I've been fishing salt and fresh for many years and when things get slow I throw a F-9 or F-11 out there and it almost never fails to get a strike. Some I have put new hooks on more than once as they do rust. Some are beat up with paint missing but these things still attract. Bass,trout,redfish,bluegill,snook. I keep 3-4 each F-9's and F-11's in my box all the time.

Floating rapalas can be trolled or cast, but I have found them to excel when fished with a dying minnow flutter.
You can feel the temple of the thumps, through your fingers and tune it in for unbelievable results. Just think back about being a kid and tossing a sunfish back that was terribly hooked, they would struggle then be still, then try to swim again. You can get those vibrations with rapalas and you will catch many more fish than someone just reeling these lures in. A friend had one bass to my 28 as a comparison of how effective this is. I can guarantee a Muskie in two short- few hours- afternoons fishing, and 90% will get one the first day doing this with bigger rapalas. Try it and you will love it.
