What have you caught with this kit folks? Interested to hear of your successes.

Answer: Unfortunately, I have caught nothing with this kit. Ended up dumping everything in it and just kept the case. Fishing is not a "one-size-fits-all" sport. I now use several storage cases, each tailored for a specific type of fishing.

Answer: It’s a great kit everything you need. Unfortunately our fishing trip got canceled due to bad weather.

I didn't get the fishing guide. How do I get it?

Answer: Try contacting the seller. Maybe they forgot to pack it. I didn't get one either, but it was 3 years ago when I ordered mines, and the guide wasn't included back then.

will it catch Striped bass?

Answer: Yes, the fish finder rigs paired with 3-4 Oz pyramid sinkers and cut bunker are the classic rigging set up for striped bass. Furthermore, the topwater popper lure is specifically designed for blue fish and strippers. Ed Hitchcock, Owner of Tailored Tackle

Answer: If the fish is dying of hunger, then, perhaps yes. The hooks won't be strong enough for a big bass. This is a good beginner's kit for the smaller, more manageable fishes out there. Tight lines and Fish on!

I received a surf fishing kit and it only has two bottom bouncer rigs. The list says it should have 4. Who should I contact about the issue?

Is this returnable? Might buy as a gift fr my husband and have no idea if he wants it.

Answer: If your husband is already an avid or weekend angler, this kit would be too general and basic. You need to know what he fishes for. Saltwater or freshwater fishing? Inshore? Deep sea? Lake? Stream? Pier/Jetty? etc. Otherwise, get him some rod ties, Plano stowaway utility containers, fishing gloves, et al. You're a wonderful wife to gift your husband anything.

Overall, a good selection of tackle. My only complaint is that the plating on the slide rigs and the clip swivels flaked off while opening and closing them. It didn’t inspire confidence in the quality. I ended up purchasing about $35 worth of additional tackle to use while in Delaware. The hooks are good quality though.
