SuperD swimbait are a 100% soft lure. Our lures use a tough full coil internal harness that can accept two muskie treble hooks. The second belly hook is further back towards the tail for a better chance of hooking up a short strike muskie or northern pike. It is balanced with a jig head so it glides at a gentle 20 degree angle on the fall and swims horizontally when jerked or reeled in. The MAG sized musky SuperD swimbait can be used as a crankbait, jerkbait or jig. When retrieved, it rocks back and forth as the curly tail waves frantically, a combination that drives large freshwater game fish crazy. Fish the SuperD swimbait with a slow, medium or fast retrieve while twitching and jerking over weeds, on weed edges and on or around structure. The SuperD swimbait comes in 5oz or 8 oz. weights and comes with a hand cut tails. Also comes with holographic eyes. The musky SuperD swimbait can be counted down at about 1 foot per second allowing you to put the bait in the fishes face at any depth. Hand poured musky and pike catching colors, 3D Eyes, Fins, Gill Plate, Scales, Softer plastic for an even more realistic baitfish movement. Our innovations in musky lures are your key to success.

what is the width of this lure ? thanks

Answer: This Lure is Anywhere Between 1-.25 Inches at the Base of the Head

How long is the body without including the tail.? Just by the hook size I cant see how this is 16" total. Thanks

Answer: just the body is 6 inches long for the split ring on the back hook to the front that is on the magnum super d the 14 inch super d is 4.5 inches for the split ring to the front

Answer: Can't really help with this as I lost it with the rest of 200 yds of line and leader last week when a boat crossed right in back of mine while we were trolling. This lure looks like it might catch fish but it's too heavy to cast and doesn't troll well at all. As the picture shows, the tail is about half the total length.

Great lure. This musky really liked it also. Only put it in water once. About 20 minutes into our trolling and BAM. Unfortunately, he really put a hurting on the lure, bit it in half just about.
