Answer: You can try. I think they are of good quality, the treble hook is very sharp and strong but I don't think they have enough weight for bluefish. Mackerel are in much deeper water.Good luck for you.

The quality of these 6 metal jig is well made. Sharp hooks and bright variety of colors depending what you trying to catch. It comes with 3 16g and 3 32g so the weight is perfect for trolling.
From my experience usually there should be a solid ring where you tie your leader line and the front hook attached to the split ring. These set only have the split ring so when you attach tie the leader line it doesn't swim as efficient. When I tie a slip swivel gives a better spin to it but as you can see in the slow mo video even though I'm pulling through the water fast it does not seem to be center. It always drag at a 50 degree plus angle. Not too much of wiggling action either. All you see that is wiggling is the back treble hook.
I did accidently hook on a bat ray at the beach using the 32g one and it does toss pretty far. I think these are better use for trolling fast on a boat and in the spring I will try to set it for CALIFORNIA halibut. Using the metal jig at end of the leader with a bait or teaser hook a foot above this.
If I catch something different in the spring I will update the stars. So stay tune and be safe out there.

This is a nice looking set of Saltwater Jigging Sinking Baits. They look and feel well made. The colors are amazing with Ultra-violet coating, which allow it to glow underwater and the hand-tied bucktail trailer has a luminous glow on the tips. I am anxious to see how this performs. Will return to update on its results with actual use.
